As data centres proliferate across the Canadian landscape and speculation surrounding AGI intensifies, these hidden architectures are becoming among the most consequential forces reshaping our relationship to the natural world.

Drawing inspiration from Andrew Wyeth’s Christina’s World, our latest editorial reimagines its protagonist confronting the sprawling infrastructures of late-stage capitalism: alien, incomprehensible, and increasingly unavoidable.
