Dear family 💜

We want to share that Instagram has deactivated our account without a clear reason 😢. After 9 years of sharing, creating, and building this community here, it has been painful and a bit confusing… but we’re still here 🌱

For now, we’re active on Facebook, and most likely we’ll return to Instagram at the beginning of this year, with fresh energy and new ways of being present, without losing what has always connected us ✨ Sometimes changes arrive without warning, and we adapt.

Have you ever made your own ? 🤔🎨
Short for magazine/fanzine, the term refers to making non-commercial, small scale publications - an easy, accessible way to share ideas, art and knowledge. It’s also a great format for !

Which is why UAC artist member Sarafina (who you may know from their project ), is co-facilitating the making of a collaborative about imagining a food utopia! 🍽🥔🥕🥘

Together with the group at Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke , they are hosting gatherings where participants read inspiring articles about initiatives overcoming food justice challenges in creative new ways - then discuss this, and as in groups, make pages for the zine (most are collages or infographic) and eat a plant-based dinner together 💚

As 2025 begins, we at UAC jsut want to take a moment to express gratitude to our incredible community! 🤩🤩
2024 has been a year of growth, inspiration, and resilience, and none of it would have been possible without your support. It was again a year of changes for us 💜
This year we:
🌟 Over 280 attendees joined our events, happening and workshops!
✨ We collaborateded with many new places and artivists.
🌟 We started 2 new projects and hope to continue and create even more next year

There are different pathways to join UAC:

🧑‍🎨 𝘼𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩: Develop with us your own project, gain valuable knowledge, opportunities, and collaborations that expand your experience and enhance your portfolio. You'll also have the chance to support fellow artists and contribute to collaborative projects.

👷 𝘼𝙨 𝙖 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧: You can become a volunteer by assisting one of our artists with their specific projects or you can support the overall structure of UAC. Your efforts will help our organization, ensuring we continue to make a positive impact through our collective work. 💪
