Smooth Oscillator by Lisa Colette Bysheim and Max Wallmeier is one of the five projects selected through our Open Call for a residency.

Smooth Oscillator is a new work created by Norwegian choreographer and dancer Lisa Colette Bysheim and German-Danish choreographer and dancer Max Wallmeier. Developed through the ongoing artistic collaboration and interest in speculative fiction, the work explores the interplay between voice, movement, and sound, creating an immersive experience that explores perceptions of time and reality.

La Mala by Escarleth Romo Pozo is one of the five projects selected through our Open Call for a residency.

LA MALA is a pre-columbian and post-colonial fairy tale of two women, lived through the body of a daughter and mother. La mala is told through broken love stories, tinder dates, tales of crossing borders, of arriving, of being seen as exotic, of being told you are too much, or not enough. La mala is a love letter to my mother, an homage to all the mothers that have migrated carrying fear and hope.

PLAY AT DAYBREAK by Roza Moshtaghi is one of the five projects selected through our Open Call for a residency.

PLAY AT DAYBREAK is a performance with a musician and three small finger puppets/performers.
Puppets allow one to express forbidden words through the puppets’ mouths or masks. This makes it harder to blame them. You see, if you are wearing the mask of a donkey it’s hard to blame you for being rude or for your political comments. Donkeys played the role of the pig in Iranian culture.
I knew performing theatrical acts, mostly puppet shows, has a long history among jailed activists in Iran and I learned more about it not long ago. Focusing on decades of carrying this tradition/narrative from one hand to another the research sheds light the collective practice.
The work is an immersive choreographic universe of sound, puppets, and movement. Accompanied by an ambition to document the sources we will visit.

FΛRSΛ by Catarina Mirianda is one of the five projects selected through our Open Call for a residency.

FΛRSΛ is a scenic creation by Catarina Miranda featuring three performers and a holographic device. The piece explores themes of perception, deceit, and the manipulation of reality. Through optical illusions, sound deception, and physical dysmorphia, FΛRSΛ examines how disinformation shapes collective and individual realities, emphasizing the fluidity of truth and perception.

SWEAT (anthem) by Milla Koistinen is one of the five projects selected through our Open Call for a residency.

SWEAT (anthem) explores the theme of endurance, which is defined as the ability to remain active and strong over time. The group piece delves into determination, commitment, effort, and resilience, particularly in the context of sports. SWEAT (anthem) is a continuation of the solo work GRIT (for what it’s worth).
