Last month, Kristina traveled to Helsinki with Lars and her Trophy Hunter puppet to participate in the Nordic Animation Pitch. There, she presented her short film called "A Very Big Game". 🎥✨ Even though she didn't win this time, she had an amazing experience where she connected with many other people in the animation industry and got some new ideas for the future.

We are so thrilled to try out a new technique for crafting puppet hands!
First, we place the metal armatures, crafted by (huge shout-out to him!), into the molds. Then, we pour in silicone to create flexible, realistic hands ready for action! ✨

Sofie can knit anything. From tiny socks to giant trucks. She knows EVERYTHING about knitting and sewing! At Wiredfly, she fabricates all of the costumes for the puppets. If you need to have a shoe cast, she just works her magic, and BLAM, shoe! During her summer vacation she knitted together a 3-week long road trip through the USA. Now that requires some big knitting needles.

Mariano has studied Finnish, Japanese and Cognitive Semiotics - he is from Naples. It's people who can think. With us, he fixes everything from how this program works to even making a small app if necessary - that's what good pasta can do to a man.

Mikkel sits and draws, has done so since he was 6 years old. Chalk, brush, pencil, Cintiq, charcoal; put it in his hand and you will be blown away. At Wired Fly, he creates Art Design for computer games and stop motion films. "I can also draw with blood" - calm down Mikkel!

Andrej is our animator. He has been a ballet dancer with the Slovenian National Theater, so he knows everything about how a body can move and stand in different poses. And that knowledge is invaluable when we need our characters in our computer games and stop motion films to appear lifelike. However, we have had to stop playing the overture to Swan Lake, because then he goes into a pirouette.

Once more we welcome an intern from Norway. Ingunn will be with us for the next 7 months, where she will help us in our Puppet department. Aren't we just lucky!
