Tomorrow 1000fryd is opening up to this performative workshop initiated by artist, Maj Horn, and our friends from f.eks. sharing knowledge of the self-organised communities in Aalborg - how they do and do not relate to each other, how they organise themsleves and what values they contemplate. Here's a picture from the summer in 2019, where 1000fryd, Det Grønlandske Hus i Aalborg and Huset i Hasserisgade organised themselves in the center of Aalborg.
See you at Mapping of the Movable !
This Saturday starting at 2 pm in Karolinelund, we will host a performative workshop, Mapping of the Movable, by artist Maj Horn.
The workshop will take place in-motion between multi-use public spaces in Aalborg’s city center and in a number of unique cultural and social venues in the city. Through an urban walk, discovery process, and collective dialogue, the participants will stop at multiple sites along a connected path through the city. The participants will be invited to share local knowledge and serve as partners for both mapping and (re)producing the city’s commons.
The collective material will culminate as an alternative guide to Aalborg, that will be published in the beginning of next year.
