Two inspiring days of art, technology and dialogue in Doha.

This edition of the Volkswagen Group “Art x Tech” conference takes the form of Smart City X, a workshop bringing around 20 students together with experts from art, urban development and Volkswagen Group Innovation.

Together, they explore how artistic perspectives and technology can shape the way we live and move in future cities.

Jointly organised by Volkswagen Group Culture and our longstanding partner Qatar Museums, with Volkswagen Group Middle East as local host.

An extraordinary weekend for classical music 👏

The 2026 OPUS KLASSIK broke every record to date: more submissions, more nominations and more tickets sold than ever before. The weekend celebrated the outstanding talent and the diversity that shapes classical music today.

Captivating performances by artists such as Andrè Schuen, Alice Sara Ott and Shira Patchornik stood alongside the recognition of emerging musicians and music educators. Together, they showed how many people and perspectives keep classical music thriving.

Congratulations to all the winners of OPUS KLASSIK! As an event partner, Volkswagen Group is honoured to support this celebration of classical music and the artists shaping its future.

Honoring artistic freedom. 🏆

Today, the city of Goslar presents the Kaiserring 2026 to Gabriele Stötzer in the Kaiserpfalz. Since 1975, the award has honored pioneers of contemporary art, from Joseph Beuys to Cindy Sherman.

Stötzer, born in 1953, is one of the most significant artists of our time and a key figure of the art and women’s movement in the GDR. Her work examines role attributions and power structures. The jury celebrates her as a trailblazer of artistic activism, and as a role model for younger generations of artists through her commitment to networking and collaboration.

Volkswagen Group has supported the laureate exhibitions at MÖNCHEHAUS MUSEUM GOSLAR since 2015, making outstanding art accessible to a wide audience in the region.

Congratulations, Gabriele Stötzer! 👏

Art for All starts with access.

At the Volkswagen Group, our cultural engagement has a clear purpose: to make art and culture accessible to as many people as possible. The Grafenegg Festival puts this idea into practice.

Lawn tickets starting at €15 allow more people to experience leading international orchestras and artists live. Through the Kulturpass initiative by , people facing financial hardship can attend free of charge.

Our video focuses on these opportunities. Visitors tell us what access to live music means to them and why it matters.

We are proud to be a long-standing partner of and to share its commitment to Art for All.

Meet Berlin-based visual artist Anna Mészáros (≋A≋N≋N≋A≋). Working across sculpture, installation, image-based processes, and textual research, her practice engages with how places, relationships, and language link together.

Anna Mészáros’s upcoming exhibition from here on out, from here on in [Copy-Shop Ballade] creates a field of tension between divergent contexts, inviting us to rethink the spaces surrounding us.

Since 1998, Volkswagen Group has proudly supported Junge Kunst in presenting emerging contemporary artists and strengthening Wolfsburg as a vibrant city for art.

Join us for the exhibition opening on Friday, 4 September at 6:30 PM at Junge Kunst e. V.!
