Eleven years passed, and he wrote to me again!
My first thought was: How bold!
Surely, over all that time, he had found someone else. After all, eleven whole years had gone by.
But what if I no longer made felt hats?
I went back and reread our old messages. Of course, my next thought was: He needs something again. Something special this time — something you can’t simply buy on Amazon.
And even the shockingly expensive shipping costs didn’t discourage him! After all, his first experience had been a good one.
As luck would have it, I had recently ordered some wool in a color called Acacia White. Though, to me, it looks more like cappuccino foam.
So, combining the sketch from his ideas with my creative freedom, this sweet and very feminine sauna hat was born.
