The gallery hosts a permanent exhibition of the owner, Patrick Herzig and temporary exhibitions of artists from all artistic and geographical horizons.
L’ATELIER est une galerie et un café où l’on peut, dans l’atmosphère d’un studio d’artiste, savourer un expresso ou une autre boisson et goûter à une sélection de petits mets froids tout en se laissant aller à la contemplation d’œuvres d’art. La galerie présente une collection permanente du travail de son propriétaire, Patrick Herzig et des expositions temporaires d’artistes de tous horizons artis
tiques et géographiques. Le café offre un choix d’expresso, capucino et machiato préparés avec le plus grand soin, de boissons diverses et de petits en-cas à base de produits naturels à consommer sur place ou à emporter. L’ATELIER est un lieu de culture et d’échange dédié à la découverte de l’art et de l’art de vivre.

L’ATELIER is a gallery and a cafe where you can enjoy art while having a coffee or a drink and a bite to eat in the relaxing and exciting athmosphere of an art studio. The cafe offers a choice of espresso, capucino and machiato, drinks and food prepared with natural products to enjoy on the premisces or to take away. L’ATELIER is a place of culture and exchange, dedicated to art and the art of living.

Remy Verbeken-Arena dit : "Je sais que je suis un garçon autiste mais je suis en fait très utile". Remy a 13 ans et il peint. Il trouve son inspiration dans ses souvenirs. Sa vision du monde est différente de la nôtre. Il peut être attiré par un détail qui n'a pas d'importance pour nous. Il aime les oeuvres de Van Gogh, car elles sont probablement celles qui sont le plus proches de comment Remy voit le monde ou comment il aimerait le voir. REGARDEZ SON FILM :

"In my approach, I reclaim everything I have in my hands and I transform it. At one point, I became interested in art magazines. Why?...... This magazine which talks of art, to suddenly put it through the blender......brings us back to the most basic medium: a sheet of paper on which one can represent anything. And I said to myself, this interests me. Because to be able to transform this object which talks of art into another art object is actually quite exceptional and I completely include myself in this discourse."

"Dans ma démarche, je me réapproprie tout ce que j'ai entre les mains et je le transforme. À un moment donné, je me suis intéressé aux magazines d'art. Pourquoi ? ......Cet objet qui parle de l'art tout à coup de le passer au mixeur, nous ramène au support le plus basique qui soit, c'est à dire une feuille de papier..... Le fait de pouvoir transformer ce matériau qui parle de l'art en objet d'art, c'est une mise en abyme assez exceptionnelle et je m'inclus complètement dans le discours."

Liebe Freunde,
Wir sind kurz davor, 2020 zu verlassen und in ein brandneues Jahr einzutreten!
Wir nennen es bereits 2021 und hoffen, dass es freundlich sein wird.
Nun, lass uns sanft sein und vielleicht auch das ganze Jahr !
Ich freue mich darauf, Sie im März zu einer neuen Ausstellungsreihe begrüßen zu dürfen,
die uns vom antiken Griechenland in die Ukraine führen wird, aber ich sage nicht mehr ...

Remy says : "I know I am an autistic boy, but I'm actually very helpful". VERNISSAGE FRIDAY July 15th, 2022 5 pm - 8 pm Remy draws his inspiration from his memories, a place he loves, a place that brings him back to a moment that he carries in his heart. It is about Holiday memories, landscapes, a moment of happiness. His view of the world is very different from ours; he can be attracted by a detail that has no importance for us, the others. Remy likes the works of Van Gogh, because these are probably the paintings that are closest to how Remy sees the world around him, or that he would like to see? WATCH THE FILM :
