Old friends & fresh energy: Double the growth at MR Chemie!

We’re setting the course for the future and are gaining two new members to strengthen key positions. Welcome (back) to the team!

Some paths lead right back to where you don’t need a long induction to take on responsibility. Following a career break, Eugen Reimer has been back at MR Chemie since mid-August – and is taking the helm in operations management straight away. Anyone who has known the company for a long time knows exactly which adjustments need to be made to realise the potential for optimisation. It’s great to have you back on board, Eugen!

New markets, new opportunities: from today, Franziska Klotz is joining us in the New Business Development department. Going forward, she’ll be focusing on identifying MR Chemie’s next areas of growth potential. In doing so, she’ll be initiating new partnerships and opening up sustainable business areas for us. A warm welcome to the team, Franziska!

Wir stellen die Weichen für die Zukunft und bekommen gleich doppelte Verstärkung auf Schlüsselpositionen. Willkommen (zurück) im Team!

Manche Wege führen genau da hin zurück, wo man keine lange Einarbeitung braucht, um Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Nach einer beruflichen Unterbrechung ist Eugen Reimer seit Mitte August zurück bei MR Chemie – und übernimmt direkt das Ruder in der Betriebsleitung. Wer das Haus schon lange aus der Vergangenheit kennt, weiß genau, an welchen Stellschrauben gedreht werden muss, um Optimierungspotenziale auszuschöpfen. Schön, dich wieder an Bord zu haben, Eugen!

Why your 3D scanner struggles with bare aluminium – and how 5 seconds of spraying solves the problem.

We carried out a quick practical test: a bare REFLECON® aerosol can – the lower half treated with our 3D scanning spray, the upper half left untreated. The 3D scan result speaks volumes:

❌ Top (without spray): Patchy point cloud, data garbage, isolated parts.
✅ Bottom (with spray): Consistent geometry capture.

The reason:
Reflective, mirror-like, transparent or jet-black surfaces scatter the light from 3D scanners so intensely that the signal is lost.

The key feature here:
No cleaning – no downtime. Our REFLECON® scanningsprays sublimate fully automatically and evaporate from the surface on their own after scanning, leaving no residue. We offer products with different sublimation times – for small or large objects.

Wir haben den schnellen Praxistest gemacht: Eine blanke REFLECON® Aerosoldose – die untere Hälfte mit unserem 3D Scanningspray präpariert, die obere Hälfte naturbelassen gelassen. Das 3D-Scanergebnis spricht Bände:

❌ Oben (ohne Spray): Lückenhafte Punktwolke, Datenmüll, Einzelteile.
✅ Unten (mit Spray): Durchgängige Geometrie-Erfassung.

Der Grund:
Reflektierende, spiegelnde, transparente oder tiefschwarze Oberflächen streuen das Licht von 3D-Scannern so stark, dass das Signal verloren geht.

A new beginning for some, a great success for others!

A few days ago, we were delighted to welcome two new faces to our team. Today, we’re celebrating two colleagues who have taken the next big step: Elias and Ayyoub have successfully completed their apprenticeships and are now officially former apprentices. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement

We’re proud of you both and are delighted to have you back on the team. Here’s to a successful future together!

Elias and Ayyoub passed their final exams a month ago. After their holidays, they’re both back – the perfect time for a group photo.
