Meet the Team of Unveiling the Abstract
✨ With deep gratitude, we present Ana F. Melero ✨

🤍 Ana is one of the dearest artists to my heart. She has been part of almost all my pieces, and each time her artistry, generosity, and vision inspire me in new ways. I can never get enough of her work — she is an endless source of inspiration, both as a dancer and as a human.

Born in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville, Spain) in 1996, Ana is a dancer and choreographer based in Madrid. She began her professional career in the UK with Phoenix Dance Theatre and Möbius Dance, and today works as an independent artist with choreographers such as Sol Picó, Isabel Vázquez, Manuela Barrero, Victoria P. Miranda, and Saeed Hani (Out of Range, Inlet, Khaos, and now Unveiling the Abstract).

Alongside her performance career, Ana has developed her own choreographic voice, often working in collective creation and non-conventional performance spaces. She is co-founder of Colectivo Banquet, currently touring with Rojo Rojo Verde and SEU AQUÍ. Together with Luna Sánchez-Arroyo, she co-created PIES DE GALLINA, an award-winning work that received both the 2024 PAD Award and the 2025 Lorca Award for Best Non-Conventional Spaces Performance.

Her first solo work, LATENTE, has been presented at festivals across Spain and has been repeatedly nominated for Best Street Performance and Best Female Dance. She has received numerous recognitions, including the SóLODOS en Danza Award (2022) and First Prize at the DanzaXtrema competition (2023).

Ana trained in ballet at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Sevilla, specialized in contemporary dance at the Andalusian Dance Centre, earned a Master’s degree in Choreography at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the UK, and completed her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid.

Meet the Team of Unveiling the Abstract
✨ Delighted to introduce Alejandro Fuster Guillén ✨

We are very happy to welcome Alejandro into our new production, Unveiling the Abstract.

Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1997, Alejandro first discovered his passion for the performing arts at the age of 15 through theatre and circus classes. By 17, he began training in dance at Angela Bruno Dance Factory, and shortly after pursued higher studies in contemporary dance at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam.

Since then, Alejandro has worked with renowned companies such as Konzert Theater Bern in Switzerland and CCNR in Lyon, France, as well as on diverse dance and performance projects across Europe. Today, he continues his journey as a freelance artist, collaborating with choreographers including Paloma Muñoz, Victor Hugo Pontes, Sine Qua Non Art, and performing as a dancer for Rodrigo Cuevas.

Beyond his performance career, Alejandro is committed to teaching and yoga, and also brings his creativity to the stage as a drag performer under the name Loli Pamboli. Winner of the Miss Drag Queen Mallorca contest, he is an active figure in Mallorca’s performance scene and an outspoken LGBTQIA+ rights activist, dedicated to defending the Balearic Islands, their identity, and raising awareness about the impact of mass tourism.

Meet the Team of Unveiling the Abstract
✨ Thrilled to present José Antonio “Kino” Luque ✨
We are very excited to welcome José Antonio into our new production, Unveiling the Abstract.

Born in La Rambla, Córdoba, José Antonio began his artistic career at 16, studying classical dance at the CPD of Córdoba and later graduating from the CPD of Málaga. He continued his higher education in Madrid, specializing in contemporary dance, where he built a strong technical foundation and gained extensive stage experience through performances, competitions, and artistic projects.

In 2020, José Antonio launched his international career in Germany, dancing two seasons with Ballet Theater Nordhausen. Since 2022, he has expanded his path as an independent artist, collaborating on projects, festivals, and performances across European cities including The Hague, Copenhagen, Hanover, Paris, Munich, and Madrid. Alongside performing, he has developed his own creative voice, presenting work at international festivals, companies, and museums.

Currently, José Antonio is focused on his career as a dancer, collaborating with Ballet Augsburg while engaging in new artistic projects that continue to expand his artistic vision.

We’re delighted to have him join us in Unveiling the Abstract.
