Closeup of the new Body of Stereochrom folded Aluminium Wall Objects. RIFFS Hallen Kunstfestival during the Berlin Art Week

EXOgallery : Valo Valentino investigates the physical materialisation of invisible sound. Through a process he developed and named Stereochrom, acoustic frequencies are translated into permanent chromatic and sculptural structures. His works occupy a space between painting, sculpture and sonic composition, transforming vibration into material memory. Drawing on the histories of abstraction, color theory and musical composition, Valentino treats frequency as a generative force. The resulting works are records of events: moments in which sound, matter and human perception become inseparable.

Valo has developed a technique of stereochrome a unique artistic method of incorporating music into visual art. By exposing metal or glass surfaces covered with pigments to sonic waves, the artists engraves the patterns of the various frequencies into his artistic objects.

CHROMATIC Gem,

I'll see ya there!

"AISla Escondida"

This wall object is a riff in space and matter.
The root note: A #(Ais) — clear, and shiny as a crazy diamond and yes its inspired from this magic Chord that we know from shine on your crazy Diamond ( )
From it unfolds an ascending spiral, folded from aluminum and painted with a contrapuntal color coding that does not illustrate sound, but embodies it.

Color becomes sound.
Form becomes time.
Sound vibrations are embedded in surface, edge, and direction.

Painted on both sides — yet only one side is ever visible.
The spiral folding decides what can be seen. That is exactly why this form feels like the perfect translation of music to me:
Never everything at once.
Always in motion.
Always tension.

This work is about pure form, pure color, pure sound.
And yes — it is more than I can hear.
It is what sound looks like.

fisical distopia

This wall object is a riff in space and matter.
The main note: D♯ (Dis) — tense, driving, slightly dissonant.
From it unfolds an ascending spiral, folded from aluminum and painted with a contrapuntal color coding that does not illustrate sound, but embodies it.

Color becomes voice.
Form becomes time.
Sound vibrations are embedded in surface, edge, and direction.

Painted on both sides — yet only one side is ever visible.

Interpretation statt Reproduktion:
Bach trifft rockigen, psychedelischen Spirit. Ordnung trifft Verzerrung. Struktur trifft Ekstase. 🎸✨

Ein visuelles Riff.
Ein vibrierendes Partitur-Relief.
Ein Brückenschlag über 300 Jahre Musikgeschichte.
