CHROMATIC Gem,

Dieses Wandobjekt ist ein Riff in Raum und Materie.
Die Hauptnote: G – gespannt, treibend, verzerrt noisy.
Aus ihr entfaltet sich eine aufsteigende Spirale, gefaltet aus Aluminium, bemalt mit einer kontrapunktischen Farbcodierung, die Klang nicht abbildet, sondern verkörpert.

Farbe wird zu steteochrom.
Form wird Zeit.
Die Klangvibrationen sind eingeschrieben in Oberfläche, Kante und Richtung.

Beidseitig bemalt – und doch zeigt sich immer nur eine Seite.
Die Spiralfaltung entscheidet, was sichtbar wird. Genau deshalb ist diese Form für mich die perfekte Übersetzung von Musik:
Nie alles gleichzeitig.
Immer Bewegung.
spannung zwischen Farben und Pausen, aufsteigend oder absteigend...
Die Unsichtbare vielfalt, wirkung und Grössenordnung von Frequenzen wird dabei als Visuelles und gar haptisches phänomen verewigt.

"AISla Escondida"

This wall object is a riff in space and matter.
The root note: A #(Ais) — clear, and shiny as a crazy diamond and yes its inspired from this magic Chord that we know from shine on your crazy Diamond ( )
From it unfolds an ascending spiral, folded from aluminum and painted with a contrapuntal color coding that does not illustrate sound, but embodies it.

Color becomes sound.
Form becomes time.
Sound vibrations are embedded in surface, edge, and direction.

Painted on both sides — yet only one side is ever visible.
The spiral folding decides what can be seen. That is exactly why this form feels like the perfect translation of music to me:
Never everything at once.
Always in motion.
Always tension.

This work is about pure form, pure color, pure sound.
And yes — it is more than I can hear.
It is what sound looks like.

BOURRÉE

Ein kleines Stück Musikgeschichte wird sichtbar:
Auf der art KARLSRUHE 2026 ist ein Wandobjekt zu sehen, das jede einzelne Note von Bachs Bourrée in Farben und Vibrationsmustern übersetzt. Jede Note wird zu einem eigenen Aluminium-Plättchen – roh, präzise, physisch.

Interpretation statt Reproduktion:
Bach trifft rockigen, psychedelischen Spirit. Nicht zufällig wurde genau dieses Stück von zahlreichen Rockbands gecovert – ein perfektes Beispiel dafür, wie tief klassische Musik im progressiven Rock verwurzelt ist. Ordnung trifft Verzerrung. Struktur trifft Ekstase. 🎸✨

Ein visuelles Riff.
