FLAX Foreign Local Artistic Xchange Art 27 This newsletter is therefore thought as an introduction to the cultural world in Germany. The goal is to support you in continuing your work.

Maybe you have been working as a filmmaker or musician in your country of origin, maybe you just want to finish your studies in the cultural field in Germany. Maybe you are at the very beginning of becoming an artist or you are already experienced and want to continue your career as a writer or dancer etc… We know how complex the German cultural system is and we can imagine how much harder it must

be to orientate oneself in it coming from another country. It assembles news, calls and offers in culture, which are accessible to everyone. For now, the newsletter is divided into four parts: 1) News & calls, 2) Introduction to German cultural institutions, 3) Events in Germany, 4) Useful links. We have asked cultural institutions all over Germany to forward us information, which we will pass on to you. Please forward this newsletter to anyone you think it could be useful to.
