I made this video a year ago by testing out outsourcing a video editor via Fiverr I found a female mixed media artist and editor in Venezuela to test the style and whether it was something I could consider a monthly expense as filming videos has always been such a mess of not getting it right not trusting myself and never having the time to painstakingly edit while hating the delivery/the missed parts/quality/ imposter syndrome ARGH!

Needless to say I never posted this and thought it sucked and while I would d this very differently now I feel like, it’s not the worst little re introduction about me.

Should I attempt a better, more recent or more personal version or what story would you want to hear (please not about how I learnt because I feel like I shared that so many times!😂)

Hey to everyone who’s still following me here, I basically left this page very dormant for quite a few years and unfortunately but understandable dropped to whatever the little number up there is now because FB is promoting their creator programe offering monthly income for creators with 100k followers (they offer something for creators with 20-99,999k but it’s a huge drop and kinda negligible for someone working full time in my industry) BUT other than ever so slightly kicking myself for being a few k away from a not too shabby monthly pay out, it’s kicked my butt a little to see if I want to give all this ‘personal brand’ hoo-haa a go again.

So if you’re still here, dudes, thank you! I’m gonna try post some more real stuff again, and some page only behind-the-scenes-if-you’re-into-that-kinda-thing content (shudder - who else HATES that word?!)

Anyway I always like to be upfront about what I’m doing and my motivation and not to sugar coat or pretend I’m super into Facebook suddenly when they have a specific creator program offering monthly stipend for doing it. And although I never really shared anything personal when I thought I was doing the personal brand thing, I think I might be ready to do that now, and share a little about what it’s like to live contract to contract, earning money from being on a stage swallowing swords for a living (and also the pitfalls and challenges of that kind of exciting but financially variable and community and tether deficient, lifestyle….)

I’m on a short vacation right now but I think when I get back to London I should make a little ‘allow me to reintroduce myself’ video!?

I have no better edit because I moved the other footage from this very Wes Craven city in Italy that suddenly turned into a very Stephen King moment, only my hard drive. I promise I’ll revisit because I literally made a video from this city on the ‘directed by Wes Craven trend’ and at the end of the day I saw this and was like oh, featuring cameo from Fans of Stephen King twisted mind 😂
