Well the cat is out of the bag... it's official. I entered Viva's Queen of the Car Show again. A couple years ago when I didn't get in, I was so defeated. But here I am, trying again. This is proof you can't give up on the things that mean the most to you.
It may take years before I ever get the chance to walk that stage, but this is my number one goal right and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'll keep showing up until it happens, because dreams are worth fighting for. Someone's got to represent the goth girlies and the weirdos + Fingers crossed I get in

I got another magazine cover 🥹

I can’t thank Baking Memories Photography enough. She is absolutely incredible and captured me in a way that makes my heart so full. Please remember, I only look this glamorous maybe a dozen times a year 🤣 the rest of the time I’m fully in my potato form.

Over the years I’ve learned something hard but important. Sometimes the people you expect to cheer the loudest for you will stay silent. I’ve lost friends along the way to many of my accomplishments. At first it hurt deeply because I wanted to be celebrated and to feel seen by those I loved. But now I’ve learned to celebrate myself.

I’ve learned to give myself flowers when no one else thinks to. To pause and truly feel proud of the work I’ve put in, the dreams I’ve chased, and the moments I’ve created for myself.

So today I’m raising a glass to the little girl who once dreamed of moments like this, to the woman who made them happen, and to anyone out there learning to clap for themselves when the room is quiet 💐
