The game was not available for some time, because of technical problems. These problems were fixed and our beloved little archer fish is now back online.

Hungry Archie is now available as a browser game, too.
This game by hobbyist developers Silvia Peter and Frank Bruns from Oldenburg, Germany started out as an Adroid app on Google Play and can now be played for free with your good old web browser.
At its core it's a physics shooter, but with a somewhat different approach and lot of love for details and level design.

Long time no see, but we're coming back with a suprise for all the fans out there. We've just released an update of the game that will entertain you with six new levels.
But that's not all. From now on the game is completely free, that means all the levels are unlocked for everyone's pleasure and you don't need to buy the premium version of the game anymore! From time to time we will show an ad when a level was finished, though. What do you think, is that an acceptable compromise for a completely free game?

Lange nicht gesehen, aber wir melden uns mit einer Überraschung für alle Hungry Archie Fans da draußen zurück. Gerade haben wir ein Update veröffentlicht, das euch mit sechs neuen Levels beglückt.
Aber das ist nicht alles. Von nun an ist das Spiel vollkommen kostenlos, d.h. alle Level sind für jedermann freigeschaltet und es ist nicht mehr notwendig die Premium-Version zu kaufen. Von Zeit zur Zeit blenden wir am Ende eines Levels jedoch etwas Werbung ein. Was denkst du, ist das für dich ein akzeptabler Kompromiss für ein ansonsten kostenloses Spielerlebnis?

Zeit für ein Schnäppchen!
In Zusammenarbeit mit den Leuten von "App des Tages" könnt ihr heute alle Level von kostenlos freischalten. Gebt dazu einfach den Code "appoftheday" (ohne Anführungszeichen) in das Eingabefeld ein, dass ihr über das Zahnradsymbol im Hauptmenü erreicht. Ihr habt es richtig verstanden. Heute gibt es Hungry Archie komplett kostenlos. Bitte unbedingt weitersagen! :-)

If you got stuck on a level or just can't figure out how to get three stars in it, we've got something for you: A YouTube playlist that will walk you through all the levels of the game. Right now more than 40 levels are shown. Watch out for more level videos to come, though.

Unbelievable, but true!

Google Play cards are now available in Germany. We got one ourselves at REWE store in Oldenburg, Germany . Now there is really no reason anymore not to buy the premium version of ;-)

Google Play Guthabenkarten gibt es nun auch in Deutschland. Wir haben uns selbst eine beschafft. Und zwar beim in Oldenburg.de. Jetzt gibt es wirklich keinen Grund mehr, sich die Premium Version von Hungry Archie nicht zu kaufen. ;-)

Ihr konntet die Premium-Version von mit allen aktuell 62 Levels bisher im Play Store nicht kaufen, z.B. weil ihr keine Kreditkarte habt oder euer Mobilfunkprovider keine Zahlung der Telefonrechnung erlaubt?
Sehr bald bekommt auch ihr die gerechte Chance auf das volle Hungry Archie Erlebnis!

Es scheint so, als ob Google nun endlich auch seine für den Play Store in Deutschland verfügbar macht. Wir sind gespannt, wann die ersten Kärtchen in den Supermärkten, Kiosken und Tankstellen auftauchen.

Google arbeitet derzeit daran, den wohl größten verbliebenen Kritikpunkt am Play Store auch hierzulande auszumerzen: Änderungen der AGB deuten auf die Einführung von Guthabenkarten in Deutschland hin und auch die Seite, auf der Codes eingelöst werden können, ist nun abrufbar.

At the moment a lot of people from Poland seem to enjoy Hungry Archie as we can see from the download statistics. We feel great about this, but wonder what causes the peak in Poland. Any ideas, someone?
