The layered paper fragments rise step by step toward the center.
The idea emerged from observing advertising billboards whose posters were not removed, but repeatedly pasted over.
This creates an abstract, random accumulation of different motifs that ultimately merge into a single overall composition.

Finishing this year with my first painting for our show at

I found this scarf at a local market in Lisbon recently, and knew I want to paint it.
I love the idea of treasure hunting scarfs or regional design and giving these objects and ideas a deeper meaning in my work.
This painting is a little treasure I keep in mind from Portugal.
