PIRASTRO Artist Steven Isserlis enjoys playing both our Oliv and Eudoxa strings and is one of many cellists who combines our different string sets.

He favors gut strings, and we have five gut core sets that cover a wide range of needs. From brilliant and powerful to warm and complex tones, each set provides its own character.

✨ Passione: A powerful, brilliant sound with a very quick response and a wide range of tonal possibilities. This unique set is the only one with a steel core on the A- and D-strings and a gut core on the G- and C-strings.

✨ Oliv: A brilliant, warm, and complex gut sound, with plenty of volume and easy response.

✨ Eudoxa: A warm, complex, and rounded sound, with a low string tension and easy response.

✨ Gold: A bright gut sound and quick response, with great value for money.

✨ Chorda: An authentic choice for Baroque instruments, with a brilliant, soft sound and very low string tension.

Do you have questions about any of the Korfker products?

These exhibitions are always a wonderful opportunity to showcase new products, especially ones like our KorfkerRests and KorfkerSpring.

It was also a pleasure to have Berent Korfker, the designer behind the Korfker products, with us at Cremona Musica. Together with Tadioli Instruments (Maurizio Tadioli Violinmaking Studio), we showcased our products, including the KorfkerSpring on a Tadioli violin and viola.

Our KorfkerRest and KorfkerSpring work together to provide optimal comfort while complementing the sound of your violin and viola.
