Party.San Metal Open Air is Germany´s biggest extreme metal festival which is mainly supporting death/black/thrash/doom and grindcore music. The festival was founded back in 1996 and has been grown over the years to one of the most important festivals working with extreme metal music. True to the bone and furthermore independent, it´s organisers put a lot of emphasis on supporting true music. The

festival was earlier situated in Bad Berka(east germany) and moved in 2011 to Schlotheim (close to Mühlhausen). Since 1996 bands such as Entombed, Dismember, Watain, Dark Funeral, Marduk, Satyricon, Unleashed, Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, Morbid Angel, At The Gates, The Haunted, Kreator, Hypocrisy, Ensalved, Gorgoroth, Sadus, Incantation, Merciless, Deströyer 666, Grave, Primordial, Six Feet Under, Benediction, Venom, Heaven Shall Burn, Carcass. Party.Sanen! Blood Fire Death - A Tribute to Quorthon and the Music of Bathory vereint etablierte Musiker aus der norwegischen und schwedischen Black-Metal-Szene, um dem musikalischen Vermächtnis von Quorthon und Bathory Tribut zu zollen. Seit 2004 bringen sie die Songs einer Band auf die Bühne, die Black Metal und Viking Metal nachhaltig geprägt und Generationen von Musikern beeinflusst hat. Beim Party.San Metal Open Air 2027 erwartet euch eine besondere Hommage an einen der wichtigsten Wegbereiter des Extreme Metal. Bathory selbst werden wir niemals live erleben können - ihre Musik aber sehr wohl!

Party.Sanen! 35 Jahre „The Ultimate Incantation“ - und Vader feiern dieses Jubiläum beim Party.San Metal Open Air mit einer exklusiven Festivalshow! Das 1992 erschienene Debütalbum gehört zu den wegweisenden Veröffentlichungen des polnischen Death Metal und markierte den internationalen Durchbruch einer Band, die längst zu den Institutionen des europäischen Extreme Metal zählt. In Schlotheim kehren Vader nun zu ihren frühen Tagen zurück und lassen „The Ultimate Incantation“ 35 Jahre später noch einmal auf der Bühne auferstehen. Eine besondere Show für alle, die diesen Klassiker seit Jahrzehnten kennen - und für diejenigen, die ihn zum ersten Mal live erleben wollen.

Nach dem PSOA ist bekanntlich vor der Herbstoffensive. Jene wird dieses Jahr zum siebten und auch letzten Mal stattfinden - die Gründe hierfür werden wir euch in den nächsten Wochen noch ausführlicher nahebringen. Für jetzt heißt es erstmal - sichert euch ein Ticket im VVK, kommt vorbei und feiert das vorerst letzte „kleine Party.San“ mit uns in Weimar. 2 Tage - 12 Bands! As you know, after PSOA comes the Herbstoffensive. This year, it will take place for the seventh and final time - we’ll explain the reasons for this in more detail over the next few weeks. For now, the priority is to grab a ticket during advance sales, come on down, and celebrate what will be the last “little Party.San” for the time being with us in Weimar. 2 days - 12 bands!
