Wir freuen uns, die Arbeiten von der Künstlerin Gamze Palabıyık, eine der Gewinnerin unseres PlaygroundArtPrizes 2025, zu präsentieren und ihre künstlerische Position einem internationalen Publikum vorzustellen.

What I find particularly compelling in Gamze’s work is her sensitivity towards material and form. Her works can appear restrained, controlled and formally reduced, while simultaneously carrying a strong sense of tension and latent violence. This tension between apparent restraint and resistance is central to her practice.
