Everybody,
Wat started 3-4 years ago during the Corna crisis and witch eventually became the World Tour Racing Club will come to end on 31/12/22.
This decision might drop for some people a bit as a surprise… for others not .
It was never my intention or plan to have the WTRC temporary.
But the present situation with how GT has evolved now to being a Arcade Collective game my interest has dropped way down below . As organizer we have to do magic to set something up … and still its not 100% trustable.
But also how people behave tbh , i can make all the events/championships i want but with people dropping constantly out on last minute, not turning up , making registrations without reading data , the 100 messages we get in the club but also personal on like … what track is it ?( even on race day ) What fuel -tires ? , what car ? ect ect .
Losing half a grid days before a big race …
This has happened constantly in all the last events that have been organized.
And this while i put all efforts in to post full data in picture format, text , announcements …..
This is not pleasant anymore…. and enough is enough.
Maybe its just people not keeping in mind that we also have families, full time jobs ….
I do want to thank everybody who where here from day 1 and still are !
Who have been very supportive and correct….but i hope you guy’s understand that the situation isn’t motivating anymore.
It gives stress and frustration. But also makes a organizer think ahead of a event … whats it gonna be this time.
A special thanks 🙏 to Adam Wareham voor all his efforts behind the scenes with me on testing, planning and so much more .
Also a thanks to everybody who has helped out on streams in the past and any form of support!” !!
Big shoutout to my 3 kids and wife for there support and for giving up time with me so racing could happen.
I wish everybody the best in the future , take care of your family and friends.
Stay safe out there guy’s!
Cheers Tom Van Loocke
