After some service by a professional Studer technician our senior engineers own Studer C37 is back to life and back in the studio.🤩

Gerhard is very happy that this legendary masterpiece of analogue tape machines from the early 1960s which he owns for about 20 years is now in working condition again after not being used for quite a while.

Back in the 90s they worked together on the first Guano Apes album "Proud Like A God". Good old times 🤩
After a little studio tour he was well impressed by the layout of the rooms and the perfect acoustic environment. 👍

Some impressions from the HighEnd-Show in Munich.
Thanks to our friends from PMC for inviting us to their booth and to Hermann Gier of SPL for a nice chat!

It was the last time HighEnd took place in Munich. Next year we will have to go to Vienna to listen to some interesting but also weird speakers 😂

After a year of uncertainty what will happen with Dorian Gray Studios after the insolvency of our “mothership” and looking for solutions to save the studios we can now announce that we can start business again in February under a new ownership. 🍾🍾🍾

Studiomanager and Senior engineer Gerhard Woelfle is looking forward to be back in the studio to welcome old and new customers. 👍👍

Flashback at Dorian Gray Studios....🤩

30 years after recording an album with german rock band "Die Besten" our Senior Engineer Gerhard Woelfle was back in the studio with band leaders Ralph Aichem and Kurt Bergt to lay down drum tracks for their new project "Freunde und Helden".
Drummer Martin Klee joined the team for a fantastic recording session. Lots of fun and great sound 🤘

Jazzrausch Bigband was back at Dorian Gray Studios with engineer Philipp Winter for recording their upcoming projects.

They were very happy with the acoustic environment and the possibilities in our new facility in Munich using 4 seperated and perfectly isolated recording rooms.
