I don’t know why, but I never knot during the winter time. (Maybe it’s because I mostly wear my work as anklets. And for me it needs bare feet and warm weather for anklets...and the weather was quite sh*tty so far this year). Normally I start again when spring comes around, but this time I had no motivation at all. I hope it‘s slowly coming back now.
Do you also have times of not knotting?

🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆🐆..and I tried an other alpha.
Alphas are so much more difficult for me than regular patterns! I struggle with irregular knots and the edges.
I think with the leopard pattern the little mistakes aren’t to bad, but I still have to practice a lot!
Do the advanced alpha knotters have any tipps for me?

Finally...after ages...I managed to finish this bracelet!
I think it’s one of my favorites so far. I love the colors!
I combined the twisted ends with a sliding knot (Tutorial coming soon!)
As you know I love loops, but at the moment the sliding knot technique seems to work better for bracelets I wear a lot!

Well, I checked my account, I did use black ones but a long time ago.

I still look at it and think: white on the outside would have been better. But doing the same kind of color combination is boring.
But I’m really happy with the pink, baby blue and mustard. I think they go really well together.

The pattern is #52699 on .

This is the perfect use for all your leftover thread! A woven bracelet.
I put a little sneak preview on my story recently and so many people asked for a tutorial. So I spend the half weekend to make one.
And tadaaa...here it is:

I know it’s nothing special, but I wanted to share this little anklet with you I did in my „after holiday mood“. (Maybe you know that weird feeling?)
I love delica beads and I love cowrie shells...so for me the perfect combination. Cute detail: i collected the shell in my holiday in SriLanka.

I packed so much thread for my holidays, but in the end I rarely knotted. At least I started these three. I think my favorite on is the one on the left. Which one is your favorite?
I think I‘m going to make at least one anklet out of them, as I prefer wearing them over bracelets.

Wow! Just Wow! When I started „Meet&Craft“ in Summer last year, I never expected that so many people from all around the world would be interested in my bracelets. I feel so honored.
But I also want to say, that the number of followers, that seems to be the only things that counts for many people, isn’t important for me.
I’m super happy that so many people show attention to my work, but I don’t care if it’s 100, 1000 or 10000.
What really matters to me, are all the nice words, the lovely comments, the encouraging mails and the support we give to each other in this perfect little microcosm of knotting.
I met so many great people here ( ) and developed kind of knotting-friendships and I love it!
Maybe one day my original idea of doing „crafting partys“ (that‘s also the reason for my name „Meet&Craft“) will get reality! Would you take part?

So Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Ok, enough cheesiness!!! 😅

I‘m on holiday in Portugal right now. And because of all the food, the wine, the sightseeing and the relaxing I don’t really find a lot of time to knot! So there’s no new content today.
But I wanted to share my favorite bracelets with you, which I all took with me! What’s your favorite one?

I really like to do several bracelets with different techniques that kind of fit together. So here it’s no just the colors but also the triangle pattern that repeats itself. The upper one is knotted, it’s pattern #44334 on . The middle one is done in pe**te technique. I do have a tutorial for it, you‘ll find it in my highlights. The lower one is self explaining.🙂

I don’t know if „Self-praise stinks!“ is a phrase in English as it is in German...but I have to confess I’m a little bit proud on my new pattern.
I managed to put everything in it I really like in patterns: gold and white on the edges, easy and nice to knot and not only one but three color gradients!
Swipe left for the back side, that turns out really nice, too. I hope you like it as much as I do and I hope I will see you doing it in colors and color combinations I would have never thought oft!

It‘s pattern number #52699 on . Don’t forget to add me as a friend!
