It is a great honor for me to have my painting "Two on the Bridge" chosen as the cover for Frances Mayes' new novel "A Great Marriage". I am grateful to Penguin Random House USA for this opportunity and to the author for choosing my work. I hope this book will be a great success for readers!

Frances Mayes (born March 23, 1940) is an American University professor, poet, memoirist, publicist and writer. Her 1996 memoir "Under the Tuscan Sun" was on the New York Times Best Seller list for over two years and was the basis for the film Under the Tuscan Sun.

At the same time, I don't limit myself to a specific theme, plot or technique. I still remain true to my style and constantly improve it. I pay close attention to form, carefully shaping the necessary semantic core. I prefer saturated open colors, mainly in the cold spectrum. I've always been drawn to Impressionism and admire modern painting with its sensual content.

При этом особо не ограничивая себя определенной темой, сюжетом, или техникой, я все-таки верен своему стилю, постоянно его совершенствуя. Большое внимание уделяю форме, пластически формируя нужный смысловой центр. Люблю насыщенные открытые цвета, в большей степени холодного спектра. Всегда тянулся к импрессионистам и обожаю современную живопись с чувственным содержанием.

All my works are about life, love, and beauty. I do not use rigid geometry or sharp compositions. Instead, my images have a sense of tenderness and a flowing nature inspired by the natural forms. This is why the two main subjects in my paintings are women and water - two elements that are pregnant with life. From the perspective of implementing this idea, figurative painting is my preferred style.

Все мои работы о жизни, любви и красоте. Я не приемлю жесткой геометрии и острых композиций. В моих образах - нежность и текучее естество природной формы. Отсюда и сюжетная тяга к двум началам в моей живописи - женщине и воде. Две стихии беременные Жизнью. С точки зрения реализации этой идеи в композициях, фигуратив для меня ключевое направление.

For me, the most significant aspect of this journey is the cultivation of my own unique vision, based on a deep appreciation for natural beauty, s*xual energy, and a relentless desire to observe and capture the beauty around me. The vital energy of life serves as my inspiration and source of creativity, while for the observer, it becomes the essence of my paintings.

Каждый художник работает в контексте огромного визуального массива информации, перерабатывая его, внося свой вклад в опыт мирового искусства. Неизбежно происходит постепенное формирование творческой уникальности. Для меня на этом пути самое главное взрастить свои собственные образы, основой для которых является константное чувствование природной красоты, естественная сексуальность и непреодолимое желание наблюдать за прекрасным. Энергия Жизни - это мое вдохновение, источник творчества, а для зрителя, - притягательная сущность в моей живописи.
