A MAJOR PHILOSOPHICAL PRAYER:
"Going live with my first official album as The Godfather of Soultronic… When you own a car you have the choice of either leaving it basic as it came out of the manufacturing plant or “$OOPING” it up with maggz, fur dashboards, rims, sunroof and a cool paint job. I prefer the later personally and hence the fact why i know i naturally have a decent voice although just like my PIMPED out ride, my voice needs the latest effects to make it sound robotic: and this leads me to my belief that God will return to Earth with a supernatural Artificial intelligence,,, The act of creation is always a step in the right direction because a creator can only create and innovate from a position of love for the self, God and its environment. The first composition is a nod to my classical music training and even though I'm a self-taught pianist who failed to be prepared for his pre-grade 1 piano examination at the age of 12 and since then began to learn the instrument by exploration of the ear, you will be able to hear my love for Romanticism in the beautiful chord colors I chose in this first release. The songwriting was approached in a basic Radio-Commercial-Pop structural approach and the lyrics expands on the idea of unrequited love. Further more the production-beat builds on the musical genres of Hip-Hop/R&B with a trap-like hi-hat syncopation for the hooks accompanied by a choir of jazzy mood synths. The entire LP is vocally performed as one main lead take, without editing or vocal harmonies which allows you to be encompassed by the musicality and vibe of the storyline. I will say that as I approach 24 and a half years in existence, I am finally fulfilling my artistic goal of being the only person responsible for everything you hear or see on this project and with this debut LP... "
