We take a closer look at Rock Creek (Capital) and Pools Carillon (Miami), two works that reflect Morris’ ongoing interest in architecture, movement, communication, and the psychology of urban space.
Rather than simply depicting places, Morris translates the visual structures of cities into fragmented compositions of color, geometry, rhythm, and reflection.
Her works explore the relationship between signs, symbols, and the built environment, transforming architectural references into vibrant, hard-edged abstractions that almost feel cinematic in their atmosphere.
The result is a visual language suspended somewhere between architecture, infrastructure, and emotion.
