And this year, we'd also like to give you a closer look at the Alldayer DJs at Gebrüder Keller & Erben.

We’ll start with Reimar:
Reimar has been part of the SoulShakers Bamberg DJ crew since 2016, which organizes not only the annual Weekender but also Alldayers and Soulnights in Bamberg. He discovered his love for rare soul and vinyl in the ’90s. Occasionally, you’ll see him not only behind the turntables but also on stage as the drummer for the ’60s beat band The Kees.

Reimar ist seit 2016 Teil der SoulShakers Bamberg DJ-Crew, die neben dem alljährlichen Weekender auch Alldayer und Soulnights in Bamberg veranstaltet. Seine Liebe zum Rare Soul und Vinyl entdeckte er in den 90ern. Gelegentlich sieht man ihn nicht nur an den Plattentellern, sondern auch als Drummer der Sixties-Beat Band The Kees auf der Bühne.

And finally one week before the party, your second host of the Munich got Soul Weekender:

Sven Bonecke
Sven is originally from northern Germany . He first encountered rare soul in the mid-80s – a moment that laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.
In the 90s, Sven was on the road with the Northern Soul Family. Together they travelled across Northern Europe, attended numerous all-nighters and were present at many scooter rallies. This period shaped him not only musically, but also through the attitude to life of a scene that still accompanies him today.
At the turn of the millennium, his career finally drew him – together with his wife and two children – to Munich in the south. There he quickly connected with the local scene and was a regular at the legendary Atomic Café, a place that was an important anchor for the Munich soul scene for many years.
To this day, Sven is a familiar face at European all-nighters and weekenders, but also at scooter rallies. His energy on the dance floor is unmistakable – he is and remains a passionate dancer!
But Sven didn't just want to dance: in 2012, he started collecting records and DJing himself. Soon after, he played his first gigs in his adopted home of Munich – at venues such as Substanz, Magic Potion and Atomic Café. Further performances took him to Hamburg, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Vienna and Pordenone, where he was able to share his passion for soul with a wider audience.
Since 2019, Sven has been writing a new chapter together with Munich soul veteran Leo Ernst: together they organise the event series ‘Munich got Soul’.

Sven Bonecke
Sven stammt ursprünglich aus Norddeutschland. Seine erste Begegnung mit Rare Soul hatte er Mitte der 80er Jahre – ein Moment, der den Grundstein für eine lebenslange Leidenschaft legte.
In den 90er Jahren war Sven mit der Northern Soul Family unterwegs. Gemeinsam reisten sie quer durch Nordeuropa, besuchten zahlreiche Allnighter und waren auf vielen Rollertreffen präsent. Diese Zeit prägte ihn nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch durch das Lebensgefühl einer Szene, die ihn bis heute begleitet.
Zum Jahrtausendwechsel zog es ihn schließlich beruflich – zusammen mit seiner Frau und den beiden Kindern – in den Süden nach München. Dort fand er schnell Anschluss an die lokale Szene und war regelmäßig im legendären Atomic Café anzutreffen, einem Ort, der über viele Jahre hinweg ein wichtiger Anker für die Münchner Soul Szene war.
Bis heute ist Sven ein bekanntes Gesicht auf europäischen Allnightern und Weekendern, aber auch auf Rollertreffen. Seine Energie auf der Tanzfläche ist unverkennbar – er ist und bleibt ein leidenschaftlicher Tänzer!
Doch Sven wollte nicht nur tanzen: 2012 begann er, Platten zu sammeln und selbst aufzulegen. Bald folgten die ersten Gigs in seiner Wahlheimat München – etwa im Substanz, beim Magic Potion oder im Atomic Café. Weitere Auftritte führten ihn nach Hamburg, Leipzig, Nürnberg, Bamberg, Wien und Pordenone, wo er seine Leidenschaft für Soul mit einem breiteren Publikum teilen konnte.
Seit 2019 schreibt Sven zusammen mit München-Soul-Urgestein Leo Ernst ein neues Kapitel: Gemeinsam organisieren sie die Veranstaltungsreihe „Munich got Soul“.

Leo... loves Soul (R&B, 6T's, Northern, and some 7T's & Modern Soul) as well as scene related sounds like Beat, Garage Punk, Ska and Powerpop. He has enjoyed traveling through the mod and soul scene since 1989. For Leo, music - especially soulful music - goes from the ears via the heart straight to the feet - he is a passionate dancer - and more of a DJ than a collector.
As a DJ he started with a little regular Mod & Soul club night through various local Bavarian and Austrian events and Allnighters to the Deeper Shade night at the Atomic Café in Munich as one of the resident DJs, as well as at the Target Club, the Soulfood Allnighter, the Magic Potion Night, the Black Cat Soul Club, Munich got Soul Allnighters, the Shoot Your Cuffs Mod Allnighters and the Going all the Way 6T's Weekender. Guest appearances at Beat the Clock in Cologne, Summer Safari/Soulsurgery in Leipzig, Hamburg Soul Weekender, Two Men from L.i.n.z., S.O.S in Vienna, O-Wow in Linz, Ballroom Bash Cologne, Beat Explosion Berlin, Absolute Beginners Rimini, Wake up Club, Pordenone Weekender and some more.
It's an honor for him to play some of his favorite records for a soulful crowd like this and to party and dance with you all night long!

Only a little more than four weeks left and of course, we’re thrilled to announce our fifth and final guest DJ for this year’s “Munich got Soul Weekender”:
John Berchtold

John Berchtold, all the way from Copenhagen, is making his Munich DJ debut at the Munich Got Soul Weekender.
His musical journey began in the early 2000s, spinning hip-hop, soul, and funk before falling deeper into rare vintage sounds. Over the years, his record bag has grown to span everything from Rhythm & Blues, Northern Soul and Garage to Early Reggae, always with an ear for soulful dance floor gems.
Beyond the decks, John has been an active part of Copenhagen's soul scene. He co-founded the Copenhagen Soul Weekender, handled DJ bookings at Mesteren & Lærlingen, and co-hosted the monthly club night Absalon Got Soul. His passion for soulful music has taken him behind the decks at clubs, festivals, and weekenders across Europe and beyond.
Above all, John is a dancer who loves soulful tunes just as much as he loves playing them. He is extremely excited to be making his Munich debut and can't wait to share the dance floor and his record bag with everyone at the Munich Got Soul Weekender.

John Berchtold, der den weiten Weg aus Kopenhagen antritt, gibt beim „Munich Got Soul Weekender“ sein Münchner DJ-Debüt.
Seine musikalische Reise begann in den frühen 2000er Jahren, als er zunächst Hip-Hop, Soul und Funk auflegte, bevor er sich immer mehr den seltenen Vintage-Sounds zuwandte. Im Laufe der Jahre ist seine Plattensammlung gewachsen und umfasst nun alles von Rhythm & Blues, Northern Soul und Garage bis hin zu Early Reggae – stets mit einem Gespür für soulige Dancefloor-Perlen.
Auch abseits der Plattenteller ist John ein aktiver Teil der Kopenhagener Soul-Szene. Er war Mitbegründer des Copenhagen Soul Weekender, kümmerte sich um die DJ-Bookings im Mesteren & Lærlingen und war Co-Moderator der monatlichen Clubnacht „Absalon Got Soul“. Seine Leidenschaft für soulige Musik hat ihn hinter die Plattenteller von Clubs, Festivals und Weekendern in ganz Europa und darüber hinaus geführt.
Vor allem aber ist John ein Tänzer, der soulige Klänge genauso liebt, wie er sie auflegt. Er freut sich riesig auf sein Debüt in München und kann es kaum erwarten, die Tanzfläche und seine Plattentasche mit allen Besuchern des „Munich Got Soul Weekender“ zu teilen.

I have been collecting records for about 8 years, ranging from Soul, R&B, Garage, Funk and everything in between😅.
In this time, I have been lucky enough to DJ at some great soul nights, all dayers and all nighters across the country, as well as Prague Soul Weekender and also the South of France Soul Weekender.
I am one of the resident DJs at The Gathering All-Nighter in Stoke-on-Trent, alongside Jim & Geese - where we play a mix of danceable Soul, Funk and R&B. We have just celebrated our 3rd year anniversary, and we also had our own Weekender in June which was a massive success 🙌

Ich sammle seit etwa 8 Jahren Schallplatten, von Soul über R&B, Garage und Funk bis hin zu allem, was dazwischen liegt😅.
In dieser Zeit hatte ich das Glück, bei einigen großartigen Soul-Nächten, Alldayern- und Allnightern im ganzen Land sowie beim „Prague Soul Weekender“ und auch beim „South of France Soul Weekender“ als DJ aufzulegen.
Ich bin einer der Resident-DJs beim „The Gathering All-Nighter“ in Stoke-on-Trent, zusammen mit Jim & Geese – dort legen wir eine Mischung aus tanzbarem Soul, Funk und R&B auf. Wir haben gerade unser dreijähriges Jubiläum gefeiert und hatten im Juni auch unseren eigenen Weekender, der ein riesiger Erfolg war 🙌

We are delighted to announce the next guest DJ for this year’s “Munich got Soul Weekender” 💃🕺🎶,
Eike Delic (Stockholm) :

Eike is the founder and resident DJ of the STUBBORN HEART Soul Club in Stockholm. His passionate love for 1960s music began early in his teenage years: starting with the Small Faces and the Kinks, becoming obsessed with garage punk and psychedelia—hence his DJ name—and finally discovering the strange world of Northern Soul in the early 2000s. These early influences can still be heard in Eike's sets today, as he has a particular fondness for raw, driving tunes. Originally from Germany, where he—among other things—organized the Soul-A-Rama Allnighter in Bremen, he moved to Sweden in 2014 for the love of a woman: Ingrid. Together with her and their buddy Andreas Dienel, he started in 2016 the STUBBORN HEART Soul Club. As the name clearly suggests, the club´s DNA is deeply rooted in 1960s R&B and Northern Soul. Behind the decks, they were joined regularly by top notch guest DJs from the UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany. After being forced to take a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the arrival of a new family member, STUBBORN HEART has been back in full swing since early 2025. This time in the amazing basement of the bar Rosetta's, which´ interior is the perfect setting for a lively, sweaty underground club. For Eike, his participation in Munich Soul Weekender means he'll be DJing in Munich for the second time. The last time, however, was around 15 years ago – so it's about time!

Eike ist Gründer und Resident-DJ des STUBBORN HEART Soul Club in Stockholm. Seine leidenschaftliche Liebe zur Musik der 1960er Jahre begann schon früh in seiner Jugend: Angefangen bei den Small Faces und den Kinks, über eine Begeisterung für Garage-Punk und Psychedelia – daher auch sein DJ-Name – bis hin zur Entdeckung der seltsamen Welt des Northern Soul in den frühen 2000er Jahren. Diese frühen Einflüsse sind auch heute noch in Eikes Sets zu hören, da er eine besondere Vorliebe für rohe, treibende Songs hat. Ursprünglich stammt er aus Deutschland, wo er unter anderem den Soul-A-Rama Allnighter in Bremen organisierte; 2014 zog er aus Liebe zu einer Frau – Ingrid – nach Schweden. Zusammen mit ihr und ihrem Kumpel Andreas Dienel gründete er 2016 den STUBBORN HEART Soul Club. Wie der Name schon deutlich andeutet, ist die DNA des Clubs tief im R&B der 1960er Jahre und im Northern Soul verwurzelt. Hinter den Plattentellern wurden sie regelmäßig von erstklassigen Gast-DJs aus Großbritannien, Spanien, Italien und Deutschland unterstützt. Nachdem sie aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie und der Ankunft eines neuen Familienmitglieds eine Pause einlegen mussten, ist STUBBORN HEART seit Anfang 2025 wieder in vollem Gange. Diesmal im fantastischen Keller der Bar Rosetta's, dessen Interieur den perfekten Rahmen für einen lebhaften, schweißtreibenden Underground-Club bildet. Für Eike bedeutet die Teilnahme am Munich Soul Weekender, dass er zum zweiten Mal in München auflegen wird. Das letzte Mal ist allerdings schon rund 15 Jahre her – es wird also höchste Zeit!

Hello everyone, my name is Arianna. ☺️ I come from the city of Pordenone in the northeast of Italy, and I’m one of the DJs that will entertain you in Munich!!!
I started hanging out in the soul scene about two decades ago, travelling to soul weekenders and getting to know more and more about the soul scene , it became a true love, and so I started collecting and playing records. I am lucky enough to share this passion with many friends that I have met over the years, I hope to see you on the dancefloor!!! ❤️

Vor etwa zwanzig Jahren habe ich angefangen, mich in der Soul-Szene herumzutreiben, bin zu Soul-Weekendern gereist und bin immer tiefer in die Soul-Szene eingetaucht – es wurde zu einer echten Leidenschaft, und so habe ich angefangen, Platten zu sammeln und aufzulegen.
Ich habe das Glück, diese Leidenschaft mit vielen Freunden zu teilen, die ich im Laufe der Jahre kennengelernt habe, und hoffe, euch auf der Tanzfläche zu sehen!!!

We are happy to announce the first DJ guest of this year's Munich got Soul Weekender!
Ingrid Elliot (Stockholm):

As a child, Ingrid began saving money for a pony - but eventually that dream evolved into buying a saxophone and building a record collection. In the early 2000s, Ingrid became a familiar face on Stockholm’s 60s scene: she organized club nights herself and took her first steps as a DJ. Today, she is - alongside Eike Delic and Andreas Dienel - a resident DJ at the Stubborn Heart Soul Club. But Ingrid’s career as a musician has also evolved: she currently plays both baritone and tenor saxophone in four different bands. As a member of Patrik Kolar & his Funky Friends, she regularly shares the stage with some of Sweden’s biggest artists and once accompanied none other than Jackie Wilson’s son Bobby. She plays rocksteady with Stockholm’s well-loved musician collective, Club Killers, and is also part of a full-sized big-band jazz orchestra. But her greatest love, of course, is her own band, The LaVettes. With this nine-piece soul and R&B group, Ingrid can write and play her own music. In June of this year, The LaVettes released their first 45er on vinyl. As a musician and passionate dancer herself, Ingrid knows exactly how to get a dance floor going. Her varied DJ sets reflect this experience - energetic, fast-paced soul and R&B, always selected with the dancers’ enjoyment as the top priority. Als Kind begann Ingrid, Geld für ein Pony zu sparen – doch schließlich entwickelte sich dieser Traum zum Kauf eines Saxophons und zum Aufbau einer Plattensammlung. In den frühen 2000er Jahren wurde Ingrid zu einem bekannten Gesicht in der Stockholmer 60er-Jahre-Szene: Sie organisierte selbst Clubnächte und machte ihre ersten Schritte als DJ. Heute ist sie – neben Eike Delic und Andreas Dienel – Resident-DJ im Stubborn Heart Soul Club. Doch auch Ingrids Karriere als Musikerin hat sich weiterentwickelt: Derzeit spielt sie sowohl Bariton- als auch Tenorsaxophon in vier verschiedenen Bands. Als Mitglied von Patrik Kolar & his Funky Friends steht sie regelmäßig mit einigen der größten Künstler Schwedens auf der Bühne und begleitete einst keinen Geringeren als Jackie Wilsons Sohn Bobby. Sie spielt Rocksteady mit dem in Stockholm beliebten Musikerkollektiv Club Killers und ist zudem Teil eines vollbesetzten Big-Band-Jazzorchesters. Doch ihre größte Liebe gilt natürlich ihrer eigenen Band, The LaVettes. Mit dieser neunköpfigen Soul- und R&B-Gruppe kann Ingrid ihre eigene Musik schreiben und spielen. Im Juni dieses Jahres veröffentlichten The LaVettes ihre erste 45er-Single auf Vinyl. Als Musikerin und leidenschaftliche Tänzerin weiß Ingrid genau, wie man eine Tanzfläche zum Kochen bringt. Ihre abwechslungsreichen DJ-Sets spiegeln diese Erfahrung wider – energiegeladener, temporeicher Soul und R&B, stets ausgewählt mit dem Vergnügen der Tänzer als oberster Priorität.
