A compilation of fragmented moments which compile my daily life in the studio. It’s non linear, it’s being lost, it’s staring at material and having no idea what to do with it, it’s being overwhelmed, it’s sitting still staring at the wall in front of you, or it is rejoicing over something you just discovered. It’s mixed feelings all over the place and yet I still wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Still one of my favourite pieces. I made it in school Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Firenze around ten years ago. It was just a prototype, in fact it remained an object and never became a piece of jewellery, but I still love it so much.
It’s made out of a tin can and silver filigree.

Working with unwanted plastic is great cause in the beginning there’s no pressure. Cause worst case it will end up exactly where it was initially destined to be - the trash. But that’s when the magic happens, when eventually there is a way to transform it and have it become something different. I live for those moments of discovery!

The afternoon light at the studio is unreal this time of year. Couldn’t help but capture these necklaces and their perfect shadows.

Earrings I made some time ago with stuff I picked from the beach. I’m always surprised by the fact that everyday objects we discard regularly, in a different context may take on a totally different meaning and perception.
