I’m excited to share that I’ll be part of DelicARTessen 2024 in Barcelona — a long-running group exhibition that brings together around 100 artists working in small formats across many different mediums.
This edition is a special one: after so many years, it will be the final chapter of the exhibition.

The title DelicARTessen plays with language in a way I love — delicate, Art, and the German essen (“to eat”), hinting at the idea of art meant to be tasted, held, and experienced closely.

This year I’m showing seven works, a mix of sculpture and mixed-media drawings on paper and canvas. One of the traditions of the exhibition is that each artist offers a small artwork for 100€, and those pieces tend to disappear quickly on opening night.

This weekend, I’m showing a selection of sculptures, drawings and some large works at the Westend Winter Gallery — including pieces that have never been exhibited in Germany before.

Some of these works have been with me in the studio for a few years, others are new and ready.

It’s always wonderful to see them in a new environment and exciting to know they be seen with fresh eyes.

The exhibition brings together 30 artists from our Creative community at Lucky Westend Ateliers. The exhibition is a special event to raise money for the ACO Charity, who support children and young people in need. I’m happy to announce that 20% of my sales this weekend will be donated to the charity!

🐒✨ Ever wondered what inspired “Monkey Madness”?
This artwork was born from my fascination with how human and non-human animals mirror one another — in our instincts, our play, our chaos, and the emotional world we often pretend we don’t share.

“Monkey Madness” mixes acrylic, pencil, collage and screenprint to express that overlap:
— the tension
— the vulnerability
— the repetition of patterns we don’t always notice
Each layer reveals something about our behaviour through the lens of another species.

✨ I’m exhibiting in Shanghai!
This year, the Arte Laguna Prize is being presented in China for the very first time — and I’m honoured to have my work selected for this international showcase alongside 100 artists from around the world.

My artwork “Monkey Madness” (2017) has travelled all the way from Europe to Shanghai… and seeing it arrive safely inside such a remarkable architectural space feels surreal in the best way.

My pop-up exhibition in the upstairs room at Kapolna gallery was a success!. There were a lovely group of ceramics students from Budapest visiting for a wood firing who attended and spoke with me about the work. I was delighted to see the work our of the studio as I could then view it with fresh eyes.

Today is the last full day of my residency and I have been packing and cleaning..Always feels a bit sad leaving but am so looking forward to seeing Christian and my dear friends in Munich soon!
