WAVES STAGE PEAK ENERGY

The energy at this year’s Waves Stage was at its peak. Thank you to all the ravers who danced with us and left everyday life behind. We melted on the dancefloor and even short rain and wind couldn’t stop us.

Our team pushed the production once again and delivered a stage you truly deserved. Next-level light systems, massive Lambda Labs QX3 sound and especially all the outstanding artists. Thank you to everyone involved – your energy, hard work and heart made it all possible.

It still feels unreal – Waves Open Air 2026 is over and we’re left with memories that will stay with us forever. What a day! The music, the emotions, the moments we shared and your incredible energy on the dancefloor made this edition truly unforgettable 🖤

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible. To our crew, artists, partners and every single person working behind the scenes: your dedication, passion and hard work are the foundation of Waves Open Air. And of course, thanks to all of you who danced, celebrated and created this unique vibe together with us. You are what makes Waves what it is.

We are incredibly grateful for all the love and support and already can’t wait to create new memories with you again.

In just 2 days we’ll finally be back together at Waves Open Air. After all the waiting, it almost feels unreal to know that we’ll soon stand in the same place again surrounded by friends, familiar faces and so many new souls who might turn into lifelong connections… or even love.

You can feel the love in every detail, in every corner, in every small decision that was made to create this space for you. It’s more than just a festival setup – it’s something we’ve poured our hearts into. And soon, it all comes alive because of you 🖤

DIRECTIONS 🚆

In this post, you’ll find everything you need to know about getting to and from the festival grounds.

For your journey, we highly recommend taking the train: From Hannover Main Station, hop on the S4 to Mellendorf Bahnhof – just a 23-minute ride. (Check schedules via Deutsche Bahn.)

Prefer driving? Take the A7 and exit at 52 Mellendorf. Please use the designated parking area and, as always: don’t drink and drive!

To make your journey home as smooth as possible, we’ve arranged three additional trains from Mellendorf Bahnhof:

• 00:20
• 00:30
• 00:45

These extra trains will only stop at Hannover Nordstadt and Hannover Main Station.

There will be enough train capacity to get everyone back to Hannover safely. If a train appears too crowded, please wait for the next one. For safety reasons, trains cannot depart if they exceed their maximum capacity, so your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated 🫶

All additional trains will depart from platform 1, so there’s no need to cross the tracks. The regular S4 train (23:54) and the RB38 (23:50) will continue to run as scheduled and depart from platform 1 as well.
