Sharing our first impressions of FORMAT X SYNTHETICA – and what a night it was! Thank you everyone for dancing!

Having 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀 by our side, we created something truly special. Weeks of concept, planning and preparation – all for one night that made it worth every second. A partnership we couldn’t have imagined any better.

David Stutz is a Mannheim-based DJ specializing in Organic Techno, Progressive Techno, and progressive-influenced sound structures. Long before stepping behind the decks, he was already a fixture in the scene — building a wide network through club nights, events, and underground gatherings.

He started DJing in 2020 and by 2023 had sharpened his focus on progressive and organic strands of Techno: music that prioritizes depth, storytelling, and dramatic arc over instant impact. His sets move through deep, mysterious, and hypnotic territory while never losing sight of the dancefloor.

As a resident at Saya Events, Format, and Release, David is firmly rooted in the regional scene. Since 2024 he has also served as Head of Strategy for Format, overseeing marketing and coordination — a role that has given him a sharp understanding of crowd dynamics and set dramaturgy, both of which feed directly into his music.
