Figured I should post some art today.

Here’s a drawing I did of old Miles Davis. I recently watched a clip of Davis essentially telling aspiring teenage jazz musicians that they are garbage and need to practice more. I just loved how Miles gave exactly zero f***s! True grumpy old man energy.

More inspiration from Greece.

This is the Greek Island of Hydra, it is one of the Saronic islands in the Aegean Sea. An absolutely beautiful place that has no automated transportation. But you can get a plethora of farting donkeys!🫏

More importantly the late great Leonard Cohen spend his early career living on the Island as part of a bohemian expat community. But it wasn’t until Cohen met his muse Marianne Ihlen who inspired early hits such as “So long, Marianne” and “Bird on a wire” .

Hydra served Cohen as an artistic hideaway throughout his career. Having written the novel “Beautiful Losers” as well as many early songs/poetry during his time on the island, I can totally understand the need to go with whatever makes you comfortable. Frankly, it’s difficult for me to see how one could ever be uncomfortable in a place so beautiful. Unless maybe they are standing behind a group flatulent Asses🫏💨
