Drawing Against Oblivion Remembering the N**i terror through the eyes of an artist who draws portraits of children and adolescents murdered in the name of a racial fanaticism.

„What happened to the children who lay in the wrong crib?“ asks Austrian artist Manfred Bockelmann. Born in 1943, he embarks on a lifetime's mission: to draw their faces, thereby retrieving from oblivion the innumerable children who were murdered in the name of racist mania and disappeared into the archives as mere numbers. Remembering the N**i terror through the eyes of the artist who travels to Auschwitz concentration camp and then to the US to encounter children who escaped the death camps. This film visualizes the horrors of the holocaust without using archival footage. DRAWING AGAINST OBLIVION is a strong plea for vigilance against racism right here, right now.
