RnR, folk, blues and pop s Thanks, Romi Mayes! Are these Germans bloody mental?!

"There are so many cool little venues around the globe but some of the coolest are little off the path European clubs in places like Germany and Holland. These little rustic mojo filled little clubs owned by an old man named Hans or Dietmar and they have cool posters all over the walls of the famous people that have played there, their wives are the bartenders, and they keep you there til the sun

comes up with stories rich in rock n roll culture and history." http://www.winnipegsun.com/2014/02/01/20-questions-with-singer-songwriter-romi-mayes

Iain Sloan, The Wynntown Marshals, March 2014:

"What a thrill! We were invited to round off our tour with a unique event - a full-band electric house concert at our friends' Marion and Dietmar's place in Mülheim-an-der-Ruhr! You're probably thinking "I've seen and heard Sloanie's wall of amps and carpet of fx pedals. I've heard that Kenny now has 4 crash cymbals and a big beast of a SakaeDrums Trilogy kit. I had the misfortune to stand 15 feet away from Murdoch's Ashdown 4x10" and 1x15" stack, and heard tales of the awesome power of Richie's shouting! Letting that lot play plugged-in in their flipping living room?!"

Yup, folks... They're doolally. Better still, their friends are equally bonkers... The show is now sold out! What a lovely way to finish off the tour! We cannot wait!"

Danny Michel - May 2010:

"Dietmar and Marion's house concert is perfection. They are true music fans who have a wonderful home & friends. They have a great sound/lighting system, fabulous food & drinks. Their generosity and kindness is an inspiration. I can't wait to come back. Wunderbar!!"

Matt Epp - Jan 2010:

"It is a deep love for people and music both that define the Leibecke's series of house concerts. And as a result, it's their example that defines the best possible house concert experience an artist could hope for. Dietmar and Marion are extraordinary supporters of independent musician and some of our best allies." (...and for fun i thought of adding this, but it would be too long! "And if the artist happens to lock him or herself outside in the middle of the night without shoes in the middle of a blizzard, their kind neighbors will let you in and continue the hospitality in the Leibecke tradition.) " ;)

Joanna Chapman-Smith - Oct 2009:

"Dietmar + Marion's house concert was my introduction to Germany and Europe - and it left a great first impression. The food laid out was enough for a wedding feast, and the smiles on all the faces made me feel right at home. I cannot wait to do it again!"

Tim Easton - Nov 2008:

"Big D's had great food, a full room, and an appreciative audience. Easily the best house concert I have ever played." Vanessa Peters - Oct 2008:

"On a scale of 1 to 10, our house concert experience with the Leibecke family was a 12 or better! They were kind, generous, and are true music lovers. They definitely understand the power of a house concert for bringing the audience and the artist closer together. I can't wait to do another with them!"

Markus Rill - Apr 2008:

"I had a great time playing the house concert. Dietmar & Marion were most gracious hosts, the room was full of supportive listeners and the food was fab. A great night was had by all." Leeroy Stagger - Nov 2007:

"This is one of the best house concerts out there, it's professional and the audience is unbelievably awesome. So good!"

Some information for acts or agents trying to book a show with us:

We only do about five to six shows a year and spend a lot of time on each of them. So we are very selective about the acts playing our house. There is a long whishlist and we try to book acts from the list first. Just to make sure an act will fit in and we get along well, we usually don't book an act we haven't seen before. That's why we are travelling internationally to different festivals and gigs to see bands and listen to specialized radio shows from all over the world to find out about new stuff. There are times, we receive about 15 gig requests per week and we try to answer them all (which does not always work out). From the number you can guess, there is only a low probability a show might come together. Anyway, if we never met you sure can let us know if you play any shows around so we'd come out to attend your gig. See you around!

Anna Tivel - The Question

NPR adelte Annas aktuelles Album, "The Question", als “one of the most ambitious folk records of the year".

Für uns spielt Anna den Titelsong des Album, "The Question":
