Dear friends and family,

Many of you have told me it’s hard to keep up with my endeavors. I thought I might create a monthly news letter, but who wants to get more emails? Instead I’ve created a list here of my events for the next few months. It may not look like much, but with 3 major international competitions, my orchestra job, and returning to my master’s studies in Freiburg, much music is yet to be made. I’m very thankful to my colleagues in the WPR for their flexibility in allowing me to take part in these competitions during my trial. That’s all for now! Tschüssi ✌🏼

Just like that, my time as academist in the officially comes to an end. Though brief, I’m super grateful for the experience and the growth I made during the last few months.

Thanks especially to .flute for being a great mentor to me. I owe much thanks to him for his trust in me and guidance in help shaping me into a better orchestral flutist. I feel very well prepared for my new position. It has been such a pleasure to play together, I will miss it!

Thanks of course to the rest of the flutes for being wonderful colleagues and guiding hands as well 🌟

Dear all my colleagues, friends and family, I am so excited to share with you that today, I won the audition for the permanent position as Assistant Solo Flute with the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen!

A very long audition- from Vorprobespiel to Hauptprobespiel a total of 5 rounds- I am very tired and overwhelmed with joy.

No matter how many people support you and tell you to keep going, a part of you seems to always doubt if you can do it. Today I proved that part of me wrong. And I want all of you reading this to know, that you too, can prove that doubt that it is wrong, and I challenge you to do so.

I have many more thoughts and feelings to share, but that’s all for now! Much love ❤️

Summer dump since it’s officially fall! This summer was a special one for me. From Cluj to Luxembourg to Warsaw to Atlanta to Lucerne, I had many unforgettable musical experiences. But what really made my summer was the people. To all of the people I met/reconnected with this summer, I will always cherish the memories we made together. Please stay in touch!

If we didn’t get a picture together we need to do better next time ( and how did we not get a picture together? ????)

I’m so happy to share that I won an orchestral audition for the first time today! I will be the Academist of the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker for the 2025-26 season! Thank you to all my teachers for your guidance toward this huge milestone.

And thank you to the flutists of the orchestra for your trust. I’m so thrilled to work with you!

I’m experience a huge wave of emotions and there’s a lot of reflection I’d like to share. But that’s all for now.

Thank you for the incredible experience of performing at the ! With a full audience and beautiful acoustic, it was my most cherished recital yet. Thanks also to Esther and Frits for hosting me in your beautiful home in Amsterdam!

Thank you so much and for a wonderful competition and flute festival!

It was an intense week, and I am so happy to walk away with newfound friends, connections and memories.

Winning 1st place in this competition on my 24th birthday was the best gift ever 🥰 this award is among my most cherished achievements. I am so, so honored. Thank you.

What a year. All I can do is look back with an immense amount of gratitude for the incredible life I get to live. Here are some of my favorite memories of 2024.

1: The France premiere of ‘s piece “l’Aulos de Silène” and performing at the George Marshall center in Paris (not pictured @ on 🎹!)

2: World premiere of “Fearring” by at the Fondation des États-Unis in Paris.

3: My whole family visiting me in Paris 🫶 (here at la Sainte-Chappelle)

4: Celebrating my 23rd birthday in Ireland at the cliffs of Moher.

5: Seeing the Northern Lights in Paris! Right above the Grande Pelouse at Cité Universitaire

6: Andrea Lieberknecht Masterclass (can you name the piece?)

7: Completing my Fulbright year in Paris and passing my final exam with “très bien et avec les félicitations du jury » (the highest award granted)

8: Working as a resident assistant with the at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC

9: Moving to Freiburg and joining this incredible studio of Flutists 🫶

10: A recent photo of me in Zürich, not a favorite memory necessarily but just one photo to represent all my travels and memories I have made around the world.

So excited to live the growth and memories that come out of 2025. Happy new year! 🎊🎈
