People Nonetheless — July 2025

Yes, our cycle of monthly cultural programs, People Nonetheless, is coming to an end, and so is the exhibition Family Heirlooms.

We’re also sad to soon be saying goodbye to our one-of-a-kind venue on the Georg-Schumann-Straße: a space we renovated with blood, sweat, tears, frustration, fear, every level of clumsiness—and, above all, with an absurd (borderline obsessive) amount of care and dedication.
 

But this isn’t the end, folks. modos lives on.

If we were once mad enough to start all this, we’ll damn well keep it going: at the very least out of spite toward the times we live in, and most of all to honor the love we’ve built and shared.
 

And it’s this very love that carries us forward, also into everything that’s coming up next!

Fr., 11. Juli | Ab 16:00 Uhr

Performance artist Florian Fochmann is bringing his dazzling repertoire of show gadgets—and everything you can imagine (and more)—for a collaborative circus like no other.
 

What to expect:
Astonishment from the little ones and the not-so-little, and an afternoon filled with magic and surprise.
 

Details:
The show will take place in the garden of our Kunstraum, where we’ll also have kid-friendly snacks, cool drinks, and plenty of shade.
The performance will be in German, but no language skills are needed to join the fun.

Before we say goodbye to our space, we simply must feed the neighborhood one last time.
Join us for a family-friendly gathering with good food for all, a chance to catch our ongoing show, and a relaxed hangout in our cozy garden, cold drink in hand.

Doors open at 12:00. We’ll be there until open end, serving food buffet-style throughout the day.

We don’t believe that all good things must come to an end. Family Heirlooms has helped us deepen connections and spark new alliances, so we’d love for you to join us in keeping that spirit alive.

While we’ll soon be saying goodbye (for now) to our current venue, we won’t go quietly: expect a proper send-off!

The exhibition is, of course, family-friendly—complete with kid-appropriate snacks and plenty of opportunities for children of all ages to explore, interact with the artworks, and get their hands delightfully messy.
