The Termites, consisting of Lloyd Parks and Wentworth Vernal, were one of the finest vocal duos to emerge from Jamaica’s legendary rocksteady era. Recording primarily for producer Clement “Coxsone” Dodd, they blended smooth harmonies with soulful melodies, creating timeless recordings that remain favourites among collectors today. Although the duo’s career was relatively short, Lloyd Parks went on to become one of reggae’s most respected bass players, performing with groups such as The Revolutionaries and backing countless reggae legends.
