Wajukuu collective Nairobi, Kenya (2)
Some more introduction of collective members, Sammy and Lazarus, sharing of the beginning of the project and how they found themselves involved and the early days challenge.
A short dive into the Wajukuu installation in Documenta fifteen “wakija Kweto” Swahili for “when they come to to our place”.
The video quality very, one more reflection on the gapes in between Germany and Kenya, north and south, i finds it relevant.

I share first short parts of this conversation given focus to Ndung’u Kimani. The ending and the beginning of this long talk. Some insight he gut out of his Documenta journey and his unique way of becoming a part of Wajucuu collective. (Headphones recommend)
I met Ndung’u on the first days of my stay in Kassel
And something clicked. At the day before closing he traveled
With me biking all around the Documenta hall’s documenting
My sweeping action. In the ending party we danced a lot.
Ndung’u, you are a beautiful young artist and I’m happy to share

Deep cleanup day, 99th day of the Documenta, I went through the exhibition venues and swiped the entrance’s. It’s a simple and straightforward action which can be associated with a certain future or past without a hierarchy of certain intention of criticism or praise. It is what it is.
Freestyle editing, self documentation, more complex editing with Ndung’u input is on the desk.

Peoples Justice Lord of Forgiveness
