Zeiss Planetarium Jena | JULY 15-17 2026. PRAISE THE DOME!

We are a space for immersive & digital art, science and business. The FullDome Festival at the Jena Zeiss-Planetarium offers a platform to present, assess, discuss and award recent works for fulldome, immersive art and media and live performances in the 360-degree dome space. An important part of the Festival is the Student's Night, where students enrolled at Universities inside and outside German

y present their fulldome works. Other Festival categories are fulldome short films, full-length feature shows, workshops, special programs and the FullDome Festival Gala. A new feature are the theme days focusing on space/astronomy, sience/visualization and art/entertainment respectively. Best contributions are awarded with the Festivals own FullDome »Janus« with prize money, Honorable Mentions and Finalists. The FullDome Festival is financed by the host, crowd funding and many supports of fulldome companies, producers and enthusiasts.
