Upcoming: “Max Meyer – Baby don’t hurt me”
– Opening & Booklaunch – Friday, May 29th.

With “Palm Press – Launch Lounge”, the ad/ad – Project Space is pleased to initiate a format that combines “pop-up exhibitions” with the launch of publications.

In the exhibition “Baby don’t hurt me,” Max Meyer turns to the fence as an aesthetic element — a motif that oscillates between boundary and ornament and shapes the image of German front yards and gardens. Using Window Color, that material situated between childhood craft practice and petit-bourgeois decoration, Meyer appropriates this iconography and returns painting to the kitchen table. The works are characterized by a formal lightness that, however, shifts at the moment the material is applied to canvas into a permanent, irreversible gesture and statement, recontextualizing the originally temporary use of Window Color into a painterly medium.

Opening & Book Launch
Friday, 29.05.2026, 6pm

Duration: 29.05. – 14.06.2026

The exhibition is accompanied by the publication “Max Meyer – Finger im Gitter für immer (Fingers in the fence forever),“ which takes up motifs, engravings, and text fragments from the show and carries them forward into an independent format.
It is published by Palm Press in a limited print run and is the fourth entry in the „Palm Press Pocket“ series.

Thanks to 😘 and log.fakewhale.xyz 🙏 “Samuel Henne – untitled (note to self)“ was on view at until October 21st.

“untitled (note to self)” uses fragmentary text images to explore aspects that oscillate between self-talk, confrontation, mantra, and cautionary plea. Among other things, the work addresses the construction of identity and refers to the idea of the “self as other” as well as questions of perception, reality, and ethos. The “self” in the title as the addressee remains open to interpretation within the image motifs and notes—as an inner monologue, future self, or observing counterpart.
Coming from a primarily studio-based practice, Samuel Henne’s current works, bring him back to a more personal and intuitive artistic process.
As a singular series “untitled (note to self)” stems from an overarching work complex „cosmos“ that is ongoing since 2023.

The publication „Samuel Henne –untitled (note to self)” accompanying the exhibition brings together 50 images and is published by Palm Press Publishing in a limited edition (all numbered. 80 pages, 27 x 21 cm. Information and order via email: [email protected]

Installation views 02/02 of “Ana Halina – Warum macht das irgendwas aus? (Why does it even matter?)“, the exhibition was on view at until June 20th.

“Palm Press – Launch Lounge“ at ad/ad, is a new format that combines “pop-up exhibitions“ with the launch of publications.

Ana Halina Ringleb’s exhibition “Warum macht das irgendwas aus? (Why does it even matter?)“ explores visibility and the question of how anger is recognized and legitimized. Understood as a shared experience and a potential source of power, anger forms the basis for the accompanying publication “Warum hab ich einen so kurzen Rock an? (Why am I wearing such a short skirt?)“ – a transcribed conversation composed entirely of questions, reflecting on anger from diverse perspectives, including who is even allowed to express it.
