🛠️ Arcane Market – Development Update #04

Hello everyone,

first of all, I'd like to apologize for missing yesterday's update.

At the moment, I'm working heavily on the inventory system. Most of the progress has been happening behind the scenes, and I've run into a few challenges with the stack system that still need to be solved. Development sometimes takes a little longer than expected, especially when I want to make sure a system is built properly rather than rushing it.

I’m confident that the current issue will be resolved soon, hopefully within the next week.

I also want to let you know that there may be fewer updates over the next couple of weeks due to the summer heat. This doesn't mean development has stopped or that Arcane Market has been abandoned. Quite the opposite — sometimes a short break helps recharge the batteries and come back with fresh energy.

Thank you all for your patience and support. I wish everyone a wonderful summer and a few relaxing days.

🛠️ ArcaneMarket – Development Update #03

Over the past few days, we've been focusing on the inventory system.

We're currently working on features like drag and drop, stack splitting, and the overall inventory logic. Many of these systems will be barely noticeable to players, but they form the foundation for a stable and enjoyable gaming experience.

We've also continued working on the user interface to ensure the inventory is clear and easy to use.

ArcaneMarket is still in an early stage of development, but with each completed system, the world is slowly taking shape.

Thank you to everyone who's been following the development. More updates coming soon!

Development Update #2 – ArcaneMarket

Hello everyone,

development on ArcaneMarket is moving forward steadily, and over the past week significant progress has been made on the game's inventory system.

Players can now view item details such as names, descriptions, values, rarity levels, and item artwork directly within the in-game tablet interface. The inventory is becoming one of the core systems of the game and is taking shape step by step.

Another important aspect of ArcaneMarket is player freedom. The current plan is to offer two different ways to enjoy the game:

🔮 Story Mode
Experience ArcaneMarket with quests, progression, unlocks, and a larger narrative surrounding your magical business.

⛏️ Sandbox Mode
Focus entirely on building and managing your shop at your own pace, without story restrictions, allowing you to create the store you want.

The goal is to make ArcaneMarket enjoyable for both players who love progression and storytelling, as well as those who simply want to relax and run a fantasy shop.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but development is moving in the right direction, and I am excited to share more progress in the coming weeks.

Thank you for following the development of ArcaneMarket.

ArcaneMarket – Development Preview

Today I would like to share a first look at the Alchemy Cauldron, one of the main crafting stations in ArcaneMarket.

The cauldron is used exclusively for brewing potions, which can later be sold in your magical shop. Different potion recipes, ingredients, and upgrades are planned as development continues.

The current version already features a customizable emblem system, allowing players to unlock and display different symbols and designs on their cauldron.

Customization will play an important role in ArcaneMarket, giving players more ways to personalize their shop and crafting equipment.

Starting next week, regular development updates will be shared every Tuesday.

More previews and progress updates coming soon.

Development Update – Nightmare Wolf Games

Hello everyone,

after a longer break due to health and personal reasons, development is finally moving forward again.

Over the past months, I have taken the time to rethink several aspects of the project and the studio itself. As part of this, Nightmare Wolf Games Germany has received a new visual identity, including an updated logo and page design.

I am currently working on ArcaneMarket, a fantasy shop simulator where players will craft potions, discover rare resources, manage their own magical store, and build their business in a world filled with mystery and adventure.

Development is still in progress, and there is a lot of work ahead, but I am happy to finally share updates again.

For those wondering about Wendscall: the project has not been cancelled. Development is simply focused on ArcaneMarket at the moment. Wendscall remains planned and will continue at a later stage.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed around and supported the journey so far.

More updates will follow as development progresses.
