The shape of the egg represents the basis and starting point for my extraordinary series of works, the Fabergé Collection. Inspired on the one hand by Peter Carl Fabergé, the most important jewellery artist of the 19th century, and at the same time by the significance of the egg as the origin of the world and of all life, anchored in numerous religions and myths, I build a fine bridge with these works between Fabergé's purely luxurious artistic aesthetics and the deeper meaning of all creation and being.
