Stubnitz presents: Exit Elbbrücken

Drummer and Composer Valentina Magaletti meets Japanese producer and label-maker YPY (of ) for a shared set. Plus KMRU (Nairobi/Berlin) and Chris Ryan Williams (NYC), this is a night that won't happen twice.

Valentina Magaletti is a drummer-composer and multi-instrumentalist who redefines percussion with her original approach. Her versatile technique, ranging from vibraphone to contact microphones, allows her to explore bold and unconventional soundscapes, enriching the folkloric and traditional palette of her native Italy. For the LP Kansai Bruises, Valentina Magaletti has combined forces with musician, producer and composer YPY (aka Koshiro Hino of Goat)

YPY is a solo project led by Koshiro Hino. He runs a cassette tape label called Birdfriend, which features underground musicians from Japan and around the world. Hino also operates the contemporary/electronic record label, NAKID.

Joseph Kamaru, aka KMRU, is a Nairobi-born, Berlin-based sound artist whose work is grounded in the discourse of field recording, noise, and sound art. His work posits expanded listening cultures of sonic thoughts and sound practices, proposing outer auditory listenings beyond the norms.

Chris Ryan Williams is an artist and musician based in Brooklyn, NY whose work unfolds through electroacoustic composition and performance installation. His EP Live earned praise from Jazz Right Now and The Quietus for its “dazzling collaged pieces that ricochet between improvised passages and written material”

alternative | electronic | indie pop | post-punk | experimental

The project of experimental post-punk artist and writer Anna Francesca from Vienna, Beaks weaves revealing poetry through bodied anthems, landing somewhere in between waking life and a dream-sequence. A multidisciplinary artist, Beaks studied photography and graphic design while working as an international model, having walked for high-profile brands including Celine, Vivienne Westwood, Miu Miu, Chanel and more. Modeling, however, was always a side quest. In 2023 she released her debut single I Dropped the Bottle, which has since seen over 4 million streams and performed across tours in London, Tokyo and Berlin, cementing Beaks’ position as a resonant and immersive artist across multiple formats.

bongmetal | doom | riff worship | black metal punk

Earthbong is a three-piece doom band from Kiel/Germany. The band was formed in 2018 and released three albums and one EP so far. Earthbong are heading towards the riff-filled land with their unique blend of doom, metal and sludge. They will be bringing ther new album Salutations to the Cultivator with them set to released on October 23rd 2026 via The Lasting Dose Records and Evil Noise Recordings.

“They're like a Bongzilla-Sleep-Milkshake. But they get it. They are their own thing." - Mike Scheidt (YOB)

Born from the depths of the 2020 frustration, "Frost, Pisse & Elend" rises to oppose the right wing scum more and more present in recent blackmetal. Keeping the noise loud, they bring back the punk attitude to blackmetal. With no distinctive boundaries five songs were created and moulded into their self released debut EP called "Frost". After a split-EP with Ur-In-Stinkt they relased their latest EP Pisse in 2024.

22.08. Narkose, Sexverbot, Die Knöpfe //
punk | hardcore | synth punk | pillow punk
