The Motorship Stubnitz is an 80 meters long ex East German fishing vessel from 1964, transformed in 1992 into an independent and moving platform. It is a cultural center for contemporary live music, club culture, performances, exhibitions and conventions. Many of the concerts and performances have been recorded on both audio and video and preserved in a media archive down in the ship‘s belly. In 2

013, 2017, 2018 and 2021 the Stubnitz received the federal award ‚Applaus‘ for culturally outstanding live music program. It is a seagoing industrial monument and culture.spaceship in full operation, living museum and cultural heritage. 04.07. Poison Ruïn (us), Sh*tshow, Night Punch //

Poison Ruin formed in Philadelphia in 2020. It began as a solo recording project but developed into a full band by the end of the year. Their music combines classic anarcho/crust punk with a variety of influences including oi!, american post-punk, NWOBHM, and dungeon synth. The band heavily utilizes dark medieval imagery and lyrical themes combined with anarcho iconography. A compilation of their 2020 demos was released as an LP in 2021, followed by the ‘Not Today, Not Tomorrow’ 7” in 2022. They will be bringing their new album Hymns From The Hills set to be released on April 3rd 2026 via Relapse Records to Stubnitz.

Sh*tshow - Eine Band wie ein erfrischender Tritt in die Fresse. Die Band wurde 2021 von ein paar Freunden aus der Hamburger Punk- und Skateszene gegründet und spielt kurze, eingängige und spaßige Songs, die jeden Raum innerhalb weniger Minuten zum Beben bringen.

Man kann nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, ob der Golem den Night Punch aus der Kombination zwischen Synth-Punk, Hardcore und Thrash erschaffen hat, Vernichtung oder Reinkarnation mit sich bringen wird. Was sicher ist, ist die Tatsache dass die fünf Musiker aus der norddeutschen Metropole Hamburg live Zähne pulverisieren.

Wenn der eigene Bandname immer wieder als Referenz in anderen Bandbiografien auftaucht, um Anhaltspunkte zu geben, man selber aber nicht „klingt wie“, dann hat man einen eigenen Sound geschaffen, den andere gerne erreichen würden. Fliehende Stürme taucht dabei ausschließlich in Verbindung mit anderen Bandnamen auf, denn keine andere Band klingt derzeit so, und selbst eine Coverband hätte es schwer nach der Transformation, die irgendwann in den frühen 80ern von CHAOS Z zu FLIEHENDE STÜRME stattfand, diesen Sound aus seinen einzelnen Bestandteilen auch nur annähernd identisch nachzubauen.

LEFT FOR PLEASURE, gegründet in Halle im Jahr 2020, verbindet EBM-Beats mit melancholischem Darkwave und schafft eine einzigartige musikalische Reise.

Laura Krieg is a means of geocritical self-defence. A cold wave of brutalist pop. A drum machine, a microphone, and silver glitter. With her latest album Crépuscule she brings people to dance, even if they’re sad. Driven by an ethereal and warm sound, the songs are to listen to with an open heart.

Schulverweis make punk the way it should be: completely in the moment. The concept of the band, consisting of L.F.T. and Levente: They record every song directly in a jam on a tape deck.

Montreal producer Kee Avil crafts deconstructed songs that fuse guitar, voice, and electronic production with avant-pop, glitch, and experimental folk sensibilities. Crease (Constellation, 2022) was met with critical praise including Bandcamp's Best Albums of 2022. Her follow-up, Spine scored even higher, earning accolades from The Wire, Line of Best Fit, Der Spiegel (album of the week), The Quietus, Outside Noise, Uncut and Bandcamp's coveted Album of the Day where Kee Avil's work was compared to "a whispered secret of grave importance." Both albums receieved Juno nominations for Best Album Artwork. Her Crease Remix EP (Constellation, 2023) featured reworks by claire rousay, Cecile Believe, Pelada and Ami Dang.

Support: Congee Rats is D**g Zhou’s solo project, which uses electronic music as a starting point for radical boundary-crossing. Between dark wave, alternative rock, hyperpop, experimental, and cinematic soundscapes, songs emerge that absorb punk energy as well as influences from traditional music.

Emerging from the shadows between sound and cinema, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble (TKDE) crafts music that feels like a forgotten dream—one suspended between the surreal and the sublime. Founded in 2000 by Jason Köhnen and Gideon Kiers, the project began as a live reimagining of soundtracks for silent film classics such as Metropolis and Nosferatu. What followed was the birth of an ensemble that redefined atmosphere itself. Over time, TKDE expanded to include Hilary Jeffery (trombone, effects), Charlotte Cegarra (vocals) and Eelco Bosman (guitar). Their collective improvisation and cinematic aesthetic created a distinct sonic identity — one that bridges ambient, doom, jazz, post-rock and experimental electronica into an otherworldly form of auditory storytelling. The group’s live performances are renowned for their hypnotic visual and sonic experience, often accompanied by abstract film projections that mirror the ensemble’s spectral mood. Formed in 2020 in Dearborn, Michigan, Pr******te is an experimental post-punk and Arab rock band. Born out of the isolation of the COVID-19 lockdown, the band’s debut album, Attempted Martyr, was written in the midst of global and personal turmoil, capturing the zeitgeist of a world unraveling. A loose concept record, it chronicles the rise and fall of a doomed zealot whose pursuit of holy vengeance spirals into a psychotic o**y of violence, greed, and lust.
