One more time we will show some art of the first WASHfestival 2011: Zezão and KLUB7 will be part of this years' MILLERNTOR GALLERY, as Billy and Mittenimwald will be shown in the pop up store popineffect starting September 28th. Next to Zezao and Klub7 there will be many many more great artists showing new work in the Millerntor-Stadion this weekend, so don't miss to be there!!!

Das internationale Kunst-, Musik- und Kulturfestival ist initiiert von Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. und dem FC Sankt Pauli. Getreu dem Motto „Art Creates Water“ transformieren wir Kunst in Wasser und inspirieren mittels der universellen Sprachen Kunst, Musik und Sport zu gesellschaftlichem Engagement.
Die Millerntor Gallery unterstützt als Social Business die Arbeit und Wasserprojekte von Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. Gleichzeitig fördern wir kreativen Freiraum für eine buntere Welt. Wir stehen für freien Zugang zu Kunst & Wasser!
Das Millerntor-Stadion in Hamburg wird alljährlich zu einer offenen Plattform für Dialog und Austausch, auf lokaler, internationaler und transkultureller Ebene. Kunstwerke diverser Genres sowie ein vielfältiges Musik-, Kultur- und Bildungsprogramm zeigen, wie alle die Welt positiv mitgestalten können. Interaktionsmöglichkeiten machen die Besucher*innen zu aktiven Teilnehmenden an gesellschaftlichen Veränderungsprozessen.
Ermöglicht wird diese Veranstaltung durch das ehrenamtliche Engagement von über 150 Supportern, die sich das ganze Jahr über mit der Konzeption, Planung und Durchführung der Millerntor Gallery beschäftigen. Musiker*innen und Kulturschaffende stiften ihre Gage für sauberes Wasser und lassen das Festival somit zu einem Social Event werden.
Die Millerntor Gallery ist eine offene Plattform für Diskurse und Verbindungen. Sie bringt Menschen und Initiativen zusammen. Über gemeinsame ästhetische Erfahrungen entstehen ungeahnte Kräfte. Wir schöpfen Potenzial wie Wasser. Selbst dort, wo wir es vielleicht nicht erwarten. Wir gestalten, transformieren, ästhetisieren bewusst und unbewusst. Die Millerntor Gallery dient als Inspirationsquelle und setzt Impulse für eine Welt voller Freude, offener Arme und sauberem Wasser für alle.
Im September 2017 holt Viva con Agua Nederland die Idee von „Art Creates Water“ nach Maastricht. Vom 7. bis 10. September wird in der SAM-Decorfabriek Kunst in Wasser verwandelt.
Zwei Monate später ziehen wir dann mit Viva con Agua Uganda nach Kampala!

The international art, music and culture festival is initiated by Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. and FC Sankt Pauli. In keeping with the motto „Art Creates Water“ we transform art into water and inspire visitors to become socially active themselves by using the universal languages of art, music and sports.
In its role as a social business the Millerntor Gallery supports the work and water projects of Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. At the same time we promote creative freedom and make the world a more colorful place. We stand for free access to art and water!
Every year, the Millerntor Stadium in Hamburg turns into an open platform for dialogue and exchange on a local, international and transcultural level. Artworks of various genres as well as a diverse musical, cultural and educational program reflect the different ways in which everyone can positively change the world. Different interaction possibilities turn the visitors into active participants in processes of social change.
The event is made possible by the volunteer work of over 150 supporters, who are busy all year round with the conception, planning and implementation of the Millerntor Gallery. Musicians and cultural activists donate their pay for clean water and by that, make the festival a social event.
The Millerntor Gallery is a platform for discourse and connections. It brings together people and initiatives. Collective aesthetic experiences create unsuspected forces. We draw potential like water. Even in places where we least expect it. We consciously and unconsciously create, transform and aestheticize. Millerntor Gallery is a source of inspiration and sets impulses for a world full of joy. With open arms and water for all!
In September 2017 Viva con Agua Nederland is taking the idea of „Art Creates Water“ to Maastricht. From 7th to 10th September we transform art into water at SAM-Decorfabriek.
Two months later we'll move to Kampala with Viva con Agua Uganda!
