Wait… there’s a starfish in here? ⭐

Inspired by the tide pools I loved exploring as a kid, we created our own tiny coastal ecosystem at home 🦀 with macroalgae, an anemone, crabs, snails and, of course, this little starfish.

Now we get to watch how this tiny world develops over time.

He’s a dad again… and his family keeps getting bigger.

Our little indoor pond is now full of baby guppies, surrounded by plants that do much more than just make it look lush. They absorb nutrients directly from the water and help keep this tiny ecosystem clear 🌿without a filter.

Sometimes the simplest setups are the most fascinating to watch. 🐟

There’s always something changing inside a terrarium, but some of the best moments are easy to miss. 🌸Right now, this tiny orchid is blooming, and its flowers are so small that you really have to get close to appreciate them.

It’s these little discoveries that keep us looking.

The right light makes such a difference 🌿💡
We use the Soltech Grove grow lights on our shelves because they give our plants the light they need without taking away from the cozy feeling of our home. Warm, dimmable, super slim, and with a timer that turns them on and off for us 😊

Not every corner of our home gets enough natural light, but that doesn’t mean it has to stay plant-free 🌿💡

Grow lights have completely changed where we can keep plants at home. We especially love warm lights like these that help our plants grow without taking away from the cozy feeling of the space.

There’s so much happening around us that we barely notice.

A cat watching the world from a window, a squirrel chasing a woodpecker, tiny fish moving through the water, a hermit crab exploring its little world.
