I am deeply saddened by the death of Nicholas Harris, founder of Catalinbread Effects. While I cannot say I knew him apart from some forum postings back on Harmony Central, he and his pioneering work in the boutique effects scene still was an important influence for me. One of the first non-industrial pedals I GAS'ed for was the Teaser Stallion. Later the Semaphore Trem was the first pedal I got after looking for one here in Europe for more than a year. And I loved it. I remember how learning of his pedals open up a whole new world to me. This is when I started thinking about learning about circuits and pedal building.
My condolences to his loved ones, friends and collegues.
Thank you Nic.

Nicholas Harris, founder of Catalinbread Effects, died on Wednesday after a tree fell onto his car according to a report from oregonlive.com.

IMPORTANT: Not to be mistaken – "Jupiter Effects" is in no way affiliated with "Jupiter FX" or "Jptr fx". It is just an unfortunate naming doublet, if you came across and wondered what is up with that.
That said, I am thinking about renaming my brand when I put out another product. Just so you heard.

Take care.

Short update for the weekend – things are in movement. It seems that the Integrails might be ready by fall. More details to follow.

This is what is happening lately.

In my initial communications I talked about the batch of Integrails being available by now. It did not work out. What happened is that I got back into a full-time job sooner than expected. This is a very fortunate thing for me to happen and I am as happy as it gets. That said, my plans for the Integrail, or any other Jupiter Effects endeavour need a strong re-thinking due to the drastic decline in spare time.

I was overwhelmed by the feedback and interest I got when the Integrails made the rounds and I feel sad that I can't deliver as I intended. Right now I am constantly twisting my mind around how I can manage to offer you guys some of these pedals in a reasonable time. Can't promise I'll find a solution. But I won't leave a stone unturned until I found one.

Hope to be back with better news.
Thank you everyone for your confidence!

This is the first pedal I built for my board to stay on in over 3 years. Still a little rough around the edges but it'll go away. Boy, that felt good. Can you guess one or both reasons for '309'?

Still planning and tinkering. Thanks for all the interest so far! Stay tuned.
