I am deeply saddened by the death of Nicholas Harris, founder of Catalinbread Effects. While I cannot say I knew him apart from some forum postings back on Harmony Central, he and his pioneering work in the boutique effects scene still was an important influence for me. One of the first non-industrial pedals I GAS'ed for was the Teaser Stallion. Later the Semaphore Trem was the first pedal I got after looking for one here in Europe for more than a year. And I loved it. I remember how learning of his pedals open up a whole new world to me. This is when I started thinking about learning about circuits and pedal building.
My condolences to his loved ones, friends and collegues.
Thank you Nic.
