A few weeks ago we got to see some great artwork in Hamburg 🎨 my favourite pieces were by Renoir, the adoration of the child by Hamburger Meister Francke (1426) and the abstract piece by Sergej Poliakoff (1950) 😍 We also got to see a few works by Greifswald’s darling, Casper David Friedrich, which was so fascinating. Hoping all of my British Columbia friends are able to see some art this summer too!

Art making looks different with a toddler 🎨👩🏼‍🎨 Here in Germany it’s common to see Easter egg trees in the spring time 🌸 traditionally the eggs are hung on March 1st in anticipation for spring and are taken down on the Sunday after Easter 🐣 loving this tradition and we are enjoying the egg painting process so much!

Introducing sweet Lily Abigail 🌸

Celebrating another class all wrapped up today 💫 I wanted to express my deep thanks to all the dedicated parents who brought their kids week after week to art classes. It was wonderful to get to know each family and teach the kids consistently.

As this amazing dad would always say to me, "consistency is key to improving and my boys have improved so much since beginning art in the summer".
