Lovelies, I know it‘s been quiet… We have been doing some deep shadow work and slowly feeling ready to come out of our coocoon now… 🦋

The Blue Monkey is about to return. But it has grown up and will integrate more shadow aspects in the future as well… 🦍

Do you want to involve yourself deeper and become a member of the Blue Monkey Crew? At the moment we are growing our family.

The co-creation of the Blue Monkey festival is a laboratory to learn from and grow with each other. Since the beginning we have already learned so much from it. Together, we keep evolving and studying and failing and looking for ways to make it better and we are absolutely amazed about the transformation and growth that we are experiencing through our mutual efforts as a tribe family.

At the moment all positions are voluntary for individuals who want to become part of a colourful, conscious and non-judgemental tribe and who are ready to commit a bit of their time and energy to the co-creation of this beautiful festival.

CREW WEEKEND: 16./17.9.23

A couple of times per year we are planning a co-created Crew Weekend at the festival venue in the beautiful nature in Leuenberg. In these smaller more intimate gatherings we get to know each other on a deeper level, discuss organisational questions and roles for the next events and Blue Monkey 2024, share our gifts, celebrate, dance and jam with each other. The next crew weekend will take place September 16/17 and it’s gonna be sweet, flowy and awesome!

WANNA GET INVOLVED?

If you would like to join the crew the best way is to join our crew weekend in Leuenberg on 16./17.9. We will not only get to know each other and discuss organization but also dance to a DJ Set by and there will be lots of space to jam, skinnydip in the lake, sweat in the sauna and share your gifts.

You find the info in the Crew Group (Link in Bio). Please only join if you are ready to get involved. This is a crew only event!

Deep Ecology is a philosophy and social movement that acknowledges that nature has its inherent value and that the individual as a part of the latter is deeply connected with nature and other human beings.

Promoting a shift away from the Western human-centered anthropocentrism in which nature has merely been given value if it is useful for humans leading to an exploitative relationship with humans conquering natural resources, deep ecology offers a more holistic and sustainable approach that promotes the belief that it is the duty of the human to preserve nature and not the reverse.

This approach also sees the individual as deeply interconnected not only with nature but also with other human beings.

In her workshop at Blue Monkey Festival 2023 beautifully demonstrated how we are in fact all interwoven into a greater rhizome of human and non human life on earth which is a powerful source of hope in times of crisis.

RÜDIGER HAR ANAND: SOMA TA**RA & GONGMEDITATION

SOMA is pure medicine for the soul. It has its roots in Kundalini Yoga and in the Sufi tradition: people gather to celebrate the divine, which is deeply nourishing. Movement, sound, breath, trance techniques - in combination with the potency of the relationship and the collective energy of the group.

- TA**RA - allow access to a heightened state of consciousness. We can experience our Higher Self and in return relax out of a deep connection to life. We become aware of what needs to change.

INTENTION
In this small retreat we will explore the sacred masculine and feminine within each of us. We will illuminate our relationship with ourselves and initiate healing processes through the powerful practice of SOMA TA**RA and healing GONG SOUND. By healing the masculine and feminine within us, we can evolve and learn to build and live healthy relationships: with ourselves, with our partners as a couple, with our family and soul family. This gives us the basis to form strong communities and to live in harmony with our mother earth as protector and servant of souls.

More and more people do not feel up to the challenges of our time and react with helplessness or overwhelming activism.

Deep ecology is about understanding ourselves as part of this earth, as a fiber in the great web of life. This workshop creates a space of experience in which we can rediscover our interconnectedness with all living things - understanding and experiencing are interwoven. It is precisely this experience that can transform our collective helplessness into powerful and joyful action and strengthen us in our commitment to life on earth.

Deep ecology goes from the head to the heart to the hand. This wonderful work, inspired by Joanna Macy, touches, moves, encourages, and releases energies!

is a biologist, environmental activist, youth coach and long-time yoga practitioner. She discovered deep ecology in 2016 and was fascinated by the possibility of combining her experience as a natural scientist with her yoga and meditation practice. The Blue Monkey Festival offers the ideal setting for this shared experience...
