Time for the next announcement!
With a new line-up consisting of members of Iku-Turso, Aborym and Ancient, the international project Thokkian Vortex is going to invoke a mysterious occult aura at UTBS2027. With clear influences from the second wave of Scandinavian Black Metal, their latest full-length LUCIFER LUCEM PROFERENS will bring a multifaceted, dark journey to our stage.

With their debut NO SAFE PLACE, these French came up with one of our melodic Black Metal highlights in 2025. Whether it's the music or the lyrics, Oppression.blackmetal didn't try to make something pompous or bombastic, just something frank, direct, and effective. That worked out incredibly well, so it's about time we bring them to UTBS!
