Arrival time & Shuttles: For your trip to Chimaera

Damit euer Weg zur Chimaere nicht zur Odyssee wird, haben wir noch ein paar weitere Infos für euch zusammengestellt, die vielleicht noch offengebliebene Fragen beantworten sollten.

Zeitraum zur An- und Abreise
Der Zeltplatz öffnet am Freitag um 10:00 Uhr und bleibt bis Montag, 18:00 Uhr, geöffnet. Bitte reist nicht früher an, außer ihr seid in einer Funktion auf dem Festival tätig. Helfer*innen mit Schichtbeginn am Freitagmorgen dürfen selbstverständlich schon am Donnerstagabend anreisen.

Ab Freitagmittag, 12:00 Uhr, eröffnen wir das Festivalgelände mit Programm am Einlass, um euch die Ankunft zu versüßen. Um 16:00 Uhr startet dann das Hauptprogramm.

Bitte betretet das Festivalgelände erst ab 12:00 Uhr. Wir möchten euch schließlich auf einem fertigen und aufgeräumten Gelände empfangen.

Shuttles vom Bahnhof Grunow
Für alle, die mit dem Zug anreisen wollen, bieten wir Shuttles vom nächstgelegenen Bahnhof Grunow (Niederlausitz) zum Chimaera-Festivalgelände und zurück an. Fahrtzeiten:

Freitag: 11:00 - 20:00
Samstag: 13:00 - 18:00
Sonntag: 13:00 - 18:00
Montag:
11:00 - 14:00
15:00 - 18:00

Eine Shuttlefahrt kostet pauschal 40 € und bietet Platz für bis zu 8 Personen. Je voller das Shuttle besetzt ist, desto günstiger wird es für alle – bei voller Auslastung zahlt ihr nur 5 € pro Person. Sprecht euch deshalb am besten schon im Vorfeld mit euren Freund*innen oder anderen Mitreisenden ab.

Achtung: Bitte beachtet, dass wir für die Planung der Shuttles auf Buchungen im Voraus angewiesen sind. Wir nehmen deshalb nur Buchungen bis Donnerstagabend um 23:59 Uhr und nur über das Formular an! Außerdem gilt strikt CASH ONLY! Optimalerweise habt ihr das Geld passend dabei.

Das Heizhaus bleibt Freitag bei kompromisslosem Techno bevor es sich mit Acid Reflux in die experimentellere A/V Schiene schiebt und dann mit Frontal auf die extended Afterhour trifft. Der Klinge Beach ist und bleibt Highlight. No more words needed. Die Wanne (lol haben die echt nen neuen Floor gemacht?!?!1) gibt sich ganz dem Ambient hin. Freitag wird besonders entspannt und nischig ;)

The Heizhaus sticks to uncompromising techno on Friday before shifting into a more experimental A/V direction with Acid Reflux, and then moves on to the extended after-hours set with Frontal. Klinge Beach is and always will be the highlight. No further words needed. The Wanne (lol, have they really built a new dance floor?!?!1) is entirely devoted to ambient music. Friday is set to be particularly laid-back and niche ;)

Tickets for small wallets: Reducing financial barriers

The Chimaera Festival is organised by many people, and at the same time it is intended to be open to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic situation.

As this principle guides us, we will once again be activating our tried-and-tested support scheme for those on a tight budget this year:

Is the current festival ticket price beyond your means at the moment? If so, we invite you to drop us a quick line via [email protected] – it’s really straightforward – and we’re sure to find a solution.
You don’t need to provide an explanation, nor will we scrutinise the details. We trust in your honest self-assessment :)

Because Chimaera is for everyone, by everyone – and that’s how it should be!

A big thank you goes out to everyone who has supported or will support this initiative with a ‘Save the Bird’ ticket.

Langjährige Chimeara Ultras wissen, wer Samstag Nachmittag nicht am Klinge Beach abhängt, beraubt sich einer Dopamindusche erster Sahne. Zwischen Radioshow, Hits und Games der ersten Sahne, warten spritzige Getränken und die nötige Portion Schabernack, um den Tag würdig zu beginnen.

Doch wer ausgelassen und gestärkt bis Sonntag durchhalten will, muss sich auch mal eine Pause gönnen. Liebevoll gestaltet, mit Liebe zum Detail, findet ihr über das Gelände verteilt gemütliche Spots und Installationen, die visuell zu jeder Uhrzeit etwas zu bieten haben.

Long-standing Chimeara Ultras know that anyone who isn’t hanging out at Klinge Beach on Saturday afternoon is missing out on a top-notch dopamine rush. Between the radio show, top-notch hits and games, there are fizzy drinks and just the right amount of fun and games to get the day off to a flying start.

But if you want to keep going in high spirits and full of energy right through to Sunday, you’ve got to treat yourself to a break now and then. Lovingly designed with an eye for detail, you’ll find cosy spots and installations scattered across the site, each offering something visually appealing at any time of day.

A Farewell, a Love Letter and a Vision

Five years ago, we were a loose-knit bunch. Collectives, clubs, friends – all keen to create something of our own. No sponsors, no glossy concept – just the idea of a festival that belonged to all of us and allowed us to escape the daily grind for a few days each year.

Week after week, we got together, planned, tinkered, discussed, scrapped our plans and explored every possibility to make this festival the best celebration we could. We curated a line-up focused on bringing locals and headliners together, fostering diversity and setting ourselves apart from the trends of the big-city nightclubs. We installed lighting, organised workshops, fired up the sauna and transformed dreary corners into places to dance. Non-commercial, run by volunteers and belonging to no one but all of us.

2026 will be the last Chimaera in this form.

Not because anything’s gone wrong. Not because we’ve lost faith. On the contrary: following the successful ticket rush, the confirmation of a major grant and an ever-growing crew, we’re certain that this year we’ll be celebrating what’s likely to be the best Chimaera ever.
We’re taking this step because we can see that the DIY subculture needs new concepts and ideas to ensure its survival, without having to operate at a loss every year or becoming increasingly exclusive through ever-rising ticket prices. Because we want to run a festival, not a marketing machine. Because it’s about enjoyment, not commercialism. How we’ll proceed from here remains to be seen. After four fantastic festivals and countless teaser parties, we’d like to take some time to think this decision through.

So let’s get together one last time. No moping, no tears of farewell at every turn. One last time, just as these four years deserve. Bring along those you’ve been here with, and those who’ve never been before.

Die nächsten Stages summieren sich zusammen zum oberen Teil der Klingemühle.

Der Kessel, letztes Jahr frisch aus Traufe gehoben und eines der großen Projekte entwickeln wir dieses Jahr zu Stage mit mehr Vibe und noch mehr Spielzeit weiter. Licht küsst Stahloptik als natürlicher Kontrast zur Mühle.

Der Marktplatz ist das Herz vom Chimaera. Neben Futter und dem Produktionsbüro, gibts hier feinste Cocktails, Fassbier, Siebdruck, den Kiosk für alle Peilos und Kettenraucher*innen, funfunfun aus den Lautsprechern kombiniert mit Tattoos, die unter die Haut gehen. Gemeinsam lungern und dummes labern ist inkludiert.

Einen Steinwurf vom Marktplatz entfernt wartet der Wellnessbereich auf sich. Mit besonderen Aufgüssen, Massagen, Whirlpool und Workshops zum sicheren Aufgussflex in der eurer Heimsauna, gibt’s hier die richtige Mischung Doppelapfel.

The next stages together form the upper part of the Klingemühle.

The Kessel – freshly unveiled last year and one of our major projects – is being developed this year into a stage with more atmosphere and even more performance time. Light meets a steel aesthetic, creating a natural contrast to the mill.

The Marktplatz is the heart of Chimaera. As well as food and the production office, you’ll find the finest cocktails, draught beer, screen printing, the kiosk for all the hipsters and chain-smokers, fun-fun-fun blaring from the speakers combined with tattoos that go under your skin. Hanging out together and having a bit of a daft chat is all part of the deal.

A stone’s throw from the market square, the wellness area awaits. With special steam infusions, massages, a hot tub and workshops on how to master steam infusions safely in your home sauna, you’ll find just the right mix here – double apple.
