FLASHBACK TO FIFO 2025!

Let’s reminisce about wonderful shared moments from our last edition, while our final call remains open.

The five days of our festival offered an extensive schedule, including special events. For Living Walls, we gathered to stroll through Freiburg together, ending with a poem by Itsushi Kawase. The Afghan Box Camera enriched this edition again with its analogue technique, while the exhibition Tales of a Nomadic City by Christian Vium and Med Lemine Rajel included a workshop and a VR experience. Once again, Kommunales Kino Freiburg provided the space for exchange in Freiburg.

You can submit to our call until September 30, 2026. Stay tuned for updates!

Thanks to photographer Albert Schmidt.

The five days of our festival offered an extensive schedule, including our main program, our students’ platform, an exhibition, and other special events.

This enabled us to engage with film enthusiasts across the globe. Once again, Kommunales Kino Freiburg provided the lovely space in Freiburg.

You can submit to our call until September 30, 2026. Stay tuned for updates on our next edition!
